    It’s the end of another year in hip-hop, and like most we all are wondering where the rap game will take us next year. Although it’s still early, a few albums set for release next year should raise the game, at least a little. Since it’s the last week of 2002, here is a list of the albums that are going out on top according to the billboard charts:

    1. Nas with his new album “God’s Son” (has been on the charts for two weeks)

    2. Aaliyah- “I Care 4 U” (has been on the charts for two weeks)

    3. B2k-“Pandemonim” (two weeks)

    4. Tupac- “Better Dayz” (four weeks)

    5. Eminem- Eight Mile: The Soundtrack (eight weeks)

    6. Whitney Houston-“Just Whitney (two weeks)

    7. Missy Elliot-“Under Construction (Six weeks)

    8. Justin Timberlake- “Justified” (seven weeks)

    9. Jennifer Lopez- “This Is Me… Then” (four weeks)

    10. Lil Romeo- “Game Time” (week one)

    11. Jay-Z- “The Blue Print 2: The Gift and the Curse (seven weeks)

    12. Eminem-“The Eminem Show (thirty-one weeks)

    13. Ja Rule- “The Last Temptation (five weeks)

    14. Mariah Carey- “Charmbracelet” (three weeks)

    15. Nelly- “Nellyville” (twenty-seven weeks)
