Hip Hop Live: Week Ending 8/1/2008

    Welcome back to this week’s edition of Hip Hop Live! Starting with tomorrow’s shows (July 26), we’ve got
    legendary group Naughty By Nature performing
    in Outerland in Edgartown, MA at
    9:30 PM. Bow Wow and Ray-J’s show
    tomorrow in Colubmia, SC
    was cancelled, while the recently exposed Rick
    Ross
    [click to read] has no plans on stopping, as he plans to have his show
    at the Main Street Armory in Rochester, NY
    at 9:00 PM. Tha Alkaholiks will be
    performing on Saturday as well at the Crash
    Mansion LA
    in Los Angeles, CA at 7:00 PM. Rounding up the day is Chino XL, who will be hitting Berbati’s Pan in Portland, OR for a
    9:00 PM performance.

    Killah Priest will
    be performing at the El Rey Theatre
    in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday (July 30) at 8:00 PM. On
    Thursday (July 31), Nas will be
    gracing Center Stage Theatre in Atlanta, GA
    at 7:30 PM. Tech N9ne [click to
    read] and the Kottonmouth Kings will
    be gearing for a show the same day at House
    of Blues Las Vegas
    in Las Vegas, NV at 4:45 PM.

    Kanye West’s Glow in
    the Dark Tour
    continues on, as the show makes its way to the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, OH on
    Friday (August 1) at 7:00 PM. Nas will
    also be performing this day at 8:00 PM in New Orleans, LA. Finishing out
    Friday, Snoop Dogg makes his way to
    the Dodge Arena in Hidalgo, TX at 8:30 PM.

    And now, for HipHopDX’s
    Most Anticipated Show Of The Week…

    Rock the Bells
    featuring: A Tribe Called Quest, Nas,
    Ghostface Killa, Raekwon, Method Man, Redman, Mos Def, The Pharcyde, Jay
    Electronica, De La Soul, Rakim, MF Doom, Immortal Technique, Murs, The Cool
    Kids, Wale
    and more! The first show will take place Saturday (July 26) in Bostom, MA at the Comcast Center.
    Doors open at 11:00 AM, and the show runs until 11:00 PM. On Sunday (July 27), Rock The Bells moves to Columbia, MD
    at the Merriweather Post Pavilion,
    and will run for the same amount of
    time.
