Hip Hop Live: Week Ending 7/18/2008

    Welcome to this week’s edition of Hip Hop Live. This week kicks off with E-40 and Suga Free at
    the Windmill Cove in Stockton, US
    on Saturday (July 12) at 5:00 PM. Performing the same day are Hieroglyphics
    at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, CA
    at 8:00 PM.  Also that day, the “Old
    School Hip Hop Explosion” will take place at 8:00 PM at the Rabobank Arena Theater and Convetion Center
    in Bakersfield, CA. The show will feature Lisa Lisa, Klymaxx, Club Nouveau, Timex
    Social Club, Naughty By Nature, Tone Loc, Young MC
    and Coolio.

    The Roots will be
    hitting the City of Sin as they rock out on
    Saturday at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel
    Las Vegas
    in Las Vegas, NV
    at 8:00 PM. Freeway rounds out the
    Saturday shows with a performance at 8:30 PM at Chop Suey in Seattle,
    WA. Interscope’s newest signee Wale
    will be performing with the Uch Band
    and Blu & Exile on Sunday
    (July 13) at 8:00 PM at S.O.B.’s in New York, NY.
    Bow Wow’s Sunday (July 13)
    performance at the House of Blues
    Atlantic City
    in Atlantic City,
    NJ was cancelled, and has yet to
    be rescheduled. Plies [click to

    ] will be performing in his home state of Florida
    at Plush in Jacksonville. The show is on Thursday (July
    17) at 10:00 PM.
