Hip Hop Live: Week Ending 10/17/2008

    Welcome back to Hip Hop Live! Kicking the weekend off is Lupe Fiasco with an 8:00 PM performance
    tonight (Oct. 11) at Loyola College in
    Baltimore, MD. Also performing at that time is Murs in the Nectar Lounge in
    Seattle, WA.

    Lupe makes his
    way over to Binghamton University in
    Binghamton, NY tonorrow (Oct. 12) at 8:00 PM. On Monday (Oct. 13) night, Atmosphere continues the Paint the Nation Tour At the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn,
    NY. In what is sure to be a politically charged event, Talib Kweli and David Banner
    team up for a show Monday night at 9:00 PM in the Bluebird Nightclub in Bloomington, IN.

    Digible Plantes make
    their way to Park West in Chicago,
    IL on Tuesday (Oct. 14) at 8:00 PM, while Kool
    Keith
    rocks the stage in Vogue
    Theatre
    in Indianapolis, IN at 9:00 PM the same night. Little Brother add to the list of shows on Tuesday, with a 9:00 PM
    performance at Abbey Pub in Chicago,
    IL.

    Jay-Z makes a
    somewhat uncommon tour appearance on Wednesday (Oct. 15) at 8:00 PM in the Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, CA.
    Indie stalwart Tech N9ne performs in
    the neighboring state of Nevada in New
    Oasis
    in the city of Sparks at the ssame time. Jay-Z continues into Thursday (Oct. 16) with a 7:30 PM show at House of Blues Houston in Houston, TX.

    Friday (Oct. 17) has quite a lineup, beginning with Guru’s Jazzmatazz at Club Firestone in Orlando, FL at 7:00
    PM. Also at 7:00 PM are Slick Rick and KRS One at the Hippodrome at
    France-Merrick Performing Arts Center
    in Baltimore, MD. The FSU homecoming
    is also on Friday, and will feature T-Pain,
    Shawty Lo, Ace Hood, Hot Stylz
    and Plies
    at 7:30 PM at the Crown Center of
    Cumberland County
    in Fayetteville, NC. Concluding Friday’s shows are Method Man and Redman at the Nokia Theatre
    Times Square
    in New York, NY at 8:00 PM.

    The Caltroit tour has just kicked off, featuring Guilty Simpson, Black Milk, Bishop Lamont,
    eLZhi
    and Sean Price. The tour
    is in support of Black Millk and Bishop Lamont’s duo album Caltroit, as well as Black Milk’s solo album Tronic and Guilty Simpson’s Ode to the Ghetto. The tour began on
    October 8, and here are the remaining dates:
