Hieroglyphics

    It looks
like Jay-Z and Linkin Park have brought back the rock-rap collabo as Maroon 5 will be entering the studio
with Oakland’s very own Casual (of Hieroglyphics).

Casual met the group last summer while
playing at the Bonnaroo Festival: “We hit it off right away, and the next
day, on a lark,  I sat in with them during their sound check. I knew all
of their hits because I had been listening to them on my tour bus, so I
freestyled over a few of their tracks and it sounded amazing,” said the
    rapper.

    Soon after,
both parties started sending tracks back and forth, and the result are these
    initial tracks (click to listen):

    The album,
unnamed as of now, is due this early this summer.
