HHDX News Bits (Young Buck, DJ Khaled and Rhymesayers)

G-unit rapper Young Buck (David Brown) was arrested Jan. 26 because of failure to appear in court on a driving violation.

According to reports Brown was caught by police in Nashville after viewing his Black Cadillac Escalade going in and out of traffic. The rapper had a run in with the law in July for driving with a suspended license.
Buck is currently out on a $1,000 bond and is due back in court on Feb. 27. His album, Buck the World, is slated for a Mar. 20 release.

Terror Squad’s very own DJ Khaled is working hard as he preps his new album We The Best. The album is set to feature T.I., Lil’ Wayne, Birdman, Rick Ross, Fat Joe and Akon, all of whom appear on his new single “We Takin’ Over.”

The album will feature production by Danja Handz, who has recently worked with Timbaland on Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado’s albums, Scott Storch, Cool and Dre, among others.

This is DJ Khaled’s second album, following last year’s Listennn: The Album, which featured the posse cut “Holla At Me” with Fat Joe, Lil’ Wayne, Paul Wall, Pitbull and Rick Ross.

Rhymesayers Entertainment, one of the biggest and most popular independent hip-hop labels in the country, launched their own YouTube channel last Friday, Jan. 19.

The channel hosts the types of videos you would expect: commercials to promote Atmosphere‘s You Can’t Imagine How Much Fun We’re Having and music videos by the Minnesota duo as well as labelmates Grayskul and POS.

However, the most intriguing of all the videos has to be the sneak-peak at MF DOOM‘s new DVD titled “MM…TV DINNER.” DOOM, who released the live album “Live from Planet X” in 2005, already had plenty on his plate, excuse the pun, this year. He has hinted at another Madvillain album this year and his collaboration with Ghostface Killah, Swift & Changeable, is due within the next few months.

Another video worth mentioning is a live clip of the now defunct Eyedea & Abilities performing the track “Glass.” Check out the channel yourself at the following link: http://www.youtube.com/rhymesayers.
