Cedella Marley Booker, author, musician, and the mother of late reggae legend Bob Marley, has passed away earlier this week in her South Florida home. Reports reveal that Marley-Booker died of natural causes Tuesday night as she was surrounded by loved ones inside her home. She was 81 years old.
Family members are currently making arrangements for a memorial in her honor.

Students at Indiana University attended a DMX concert that abruptly ended to the spray of mace cans.
DMX was set to perform for students from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm. There was an agreement between the house that put on the show (Lambda Chi Alpha) and the University that the show would end before 10 pm as a courtesy to neighboring houses. However, DMX arrived nearly an hour late, where he finally made it up on stage around 9:30 pm.
DMX performed only three songs before police came on stage to close the show up as it was past the respected time that was agreed upon. This is where the story gets hazy.
Two conflicting sides believe two events occurred. Students said they did not rush the stage, even though the crowd was disgruntle toward the police, throwing objects on stage at them. On the other side, the police said that it was not them who used the mace. Larry MacIntyre, spokesman for Indiana University stated “I did chat with the campus police, who said that it was not them who disbursed the crowd using pepper spray.” MacIntyre believes it was a “private security firm” who used the mace to stop the angry students.
Webbie appeared on DJ Wrekk 1‘s radio show this week to discuss a myriad of things, including the rumors of him having seizures and missing shows. Webbie arrived at the Hot 96.3 studios in Indianapolis in good spirits but things soon got ugly. Wrekk asked Webbie the same question several times – although in different interviews – and that’s when Webbie got visibly upset. When Wrekk seemed to imply that the seizure was an excuse, Webbie cut him off by saying “Bitch, quit asking me about some motherfucking seizures before I get on your motherfucking ass man!” Wrekk tried to calm Webbie down but had to cut the cameras off due to the language and tension in the interview.
