Once one of the most visible female emcees around, Left Eye of TLC will be remembered on the fifth year anniversary of her death by a documentary.
According to SOHH, the documentary (entitled Last Days of Left Eye) will feature home videos, photos, and footage commisioned by Left Eye herself of the last 30 days of her life.
The footage leads up almost to the exact moment of the singer/rapper’s death in Honduras, where she was killed in a car accident.
Left Eye would have turned 36 on May 27.
As previously reported, Snoop Dogg was denied entry into Australia recently. Immigration Minister Kevin Andrews stated that Snoop had failed the country’s character test due to his criminal convictions.
“He doesn’t seem the sort of bloke we want in this country,” said Andrews, according to the Associated Press.
Snoop has 28 days to protest the decision, and it looks like MTV will be helping out.
Because he was scheduled to be the co-host of the Australian MTV Music Awards on Sunday, April 29th, MTV has hired six immigration specialists to ready Snoop’s case.
“We’re putting a lot of energy in to making a case for how popular Snoop is and the fact he’s been here before without incident…we’re hopeful that when people tune in to MTV at seven o’clock on Sunday, they’ll see Snoop Dogg on the red carpet,” said Dave Sibly, MTV managing director.
