HHDX News Bits (Kanye Goes Punk, Rawkus Goes Foreign)

    Kanye West will spend some time in and outside the studio with
    Jay-Z‘s favorite pop-punk band off of Def Jam’s Island Record label; Fall Out Boy.  Rolling Stone reports that West will remix tunes from their next album,
    Infinity On High, which is set to release February 6th.  Jay-Z is on tap to provide some vocals on the rockers album as well and
    Fall Out Boy
    have signed on to remix a song yet-to-be-named by West.

    In Rawkus news, the label has formed a partnership with
    Voxonic Inc., creators of a patent-pending software which transforms
    voices into foreign language, to release the single from their artist
    Naledge in various languages.

    The label plans to release a single from the rapper’s forthcoming solo album, Naledge Is Power through Voxonic’s new software.  Voxonic provides the technology necessary to
    create voice conversions, which allows voices to be presented in any
    language with 99% accuracy of the original speaker’s voice, according
    to a press release. The technology can convert voices into more than
    1,400 different languages including Spanish, French, and German.


    Naledge
    , a Chicago native will be the test client for the label. In addition to his first single, his album,
    Naledge is Power, will be translated in various languages and has an array of producers which include Just Blaze, 9th Wonder and
    Pete Rock
    .
