    Top 10 at Hot97
This past week fans have been logging into Hot97’s site and voting (based on “skills,”
“hunger,” and “potential”) for the Top
10 Best MCs in the Game
. A poll put together by Peter Rosenberg.

At 3am this morning the votes were tallied and the top 10
emcees were named. Amongst an initial list that consisted of Andre 3000, Lil Wayne, Saigon, Jay-Z and more; the top 10 list is
    posted below:

    10. Talib Kewli
    9. Andre 3000
    8. Nas
    7. Skyzoo
    6. Jadakiss
    5. Lil Wayne
    4. Kardinal Offishal
    3. Sean Price
    2. Papoose
    1. Saigon

Brooklyn emcee, Skyzoo, reached the number 7 spot while
being the ONLY artist unsigned; a victory within itself…

“As the only artist up there without a major
situation it’s an honor to be on the list of the top 10 emcees in the game. Being
nominated on the initial list of 25 was huge in itself, and I was good with
that. But then being selected in the top 10, it’s amazing. I’m real blessed.
I’m in the presence of greatness as far as the legends on that list. Those are
all people that I listen to and look up to, so being there next to them is mind
blowing. Big thanks to my man Peter Rosenberg and his whole crew and the whole HOT97
and my whole team behind me, and every fan who supported me,”
Skyzoo told HipHopDX once finding out the results.
