First and foremost, the hot shit, Chino XL’s sophomore LP, “I Told You So” is dropping September 11. Hopefully it actually will… Other release dates that will break my heart if they get pushed back are; Ras Kass – “Van Gogh” and Royce The 5’9 – “Rock City” on August 21, Dilated Peoples – “Expansion Team” on September 25 and Likwit Crew on October 30… Cormega responded to Nas’ dis in H.O.M.O. in a track over the same Eric B cut on Hot 97, hopefully that will create some buzz for his dope new album.
“The Realness” (review coming soon)… Roots front man Black Thought is delaying his album yet again; word is that another Roots album will drop before his solo LP… If y’all haven’t heard Suge is outta prison, heads up Snoop… speaking of the S-n-double-o-p, Tha Eastsidaz new album debuted at number 4 on the billboard charts… Lastly, Last Emporer is dope, drop an album already.
