Canada’s duo of Madchild and Prevail, aka Swollem Members, have their sophomore LP ready to go. “Bad Dreams” will drop next week on the 13th. The 19 track LP features appearances by Dilated, Chali 2na, Buc Fifty, Moka Only, Son Doobie and DJ Revolution. Production will be handled by the likes of Rob the Viking, Alchemist and Joey Chavez…. Look for Slum Village’s second album, “Trinity,” in early 2002. Former member and esteemed producer, Jay Dee will contribute several tracks….
Snoop’s new movie “Bones” has released it’s accompanying soundtrack. Snoop does over half the tracks and it also features Xzibit, D-12, Kokane, Supafly and more…. Speaking of Snoop, he has now officially signed with MCA, they will distribute both Doggy Style Records and Snoopadelic Films…. Look for “The D&D Project 2002” in early 2002. It will feature emcees like Afu-Ra, Guru, Sadat X, Big Daddy Kane, Craig-G, R.A The Rugged Man rapping over beats buy the likes of Primo, Alchemist, Easy Mo Bee and Da Beatminerz.
