The Hip Hop world is still reacting to the tumultuous events at this weekend’s 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards. Now, in a recent interview with TMZ, MMG rapper Gunplay throws some more fuel on the fire in his fight with 50 Cent.
Gunplay explained that he had to take on five members of Fiddy’s security team while the G-Unit general hid behind them and watched from a safe distance. Unfazed by the uproar, Gunplay went on to warn the Queens rapper, “if you fuck with me, if you play with me, you might get gunned down.”
“I don’t know [why it started], it’s just what happens,” he said. “I was by myself, and we ran it, and it was one on five, five on one, I took it to ’em and that’s it…I don’t know nothing about no shots fired, I’ma be totally honest with you, but all I know [is] I had to fight off five dudes…I never liked [50], I’ve always wanted to kick his ass, finally got the opportunity to get close to him [and] he was hiding behind all his security. I couldn’t get to him [and] try to break his little fuckin’ neck.”
He continued, “I’m not playing with it, they playing with it…if you fuck with me, if you play with me, you might get gunned down – you never know.”
