Gunna is set to embark on his biggest challenge yet by signing up to run a marathon.
Sitting down for a chat with Spotify alongside his manager Ebony Ward, the YSL rapper revealed that he’s planning on pushing his newfound love of fitness to the limit.

“One of my manifestations for 2025 is running a marathon,” he said, after which Ward added: “I’ma run it with you.”
Gunna, who has shown no previous interest in long-distance running, did not reveal which marathon he is aiming to partake in.
Aside from regularly hitting the gym, Gunna is still battling snitching allegations after he took a plea deal in his and Young Thug’s infamous YSL RICO case.
Steve Sadow, the attorney who represented the One of Wun rapper in the case, recently insisted that his client never cooperated with law enforcement.

“I was Gunna’s attorney but I am NOT speaking on his behalf. This long post is solely to set out the truth,” he wrote on X. “Gunna did NOT cooperate, and did NOTHING and said NOTHING to cause harm to Thug’s case. He spent 8 months in jail and was released in Dec. 2022 after entering an Alford plea.
“Gunna’s plea could not and was not used at Thug’s trial and he was never even named as a witness. He received a 5-yr suspended sentence, with no reporting, no travel restrictions, no living restrictions, AND NO PROBATION.”
Sadow continued: “Over the last two years, from media reports, he has performed all over the world, achieved international fame and recognition, and earned millions of dollars.
“Conversely, Thug went to trial and eventually pled guilty and nolo after spending 30-months in jail, received 15 years probation, with reporting conditions and is not even allowed to live in Atlanta. THOSE THAT HAVE AND CONTINUE TO BAD MOUTH GUNNA, GET OVER IT. NUFF’ SAID.”

Gunna himself has also denied strengthening Fulton County prosecutors’ case against Thug, who himself took a plea deal, although the YSL leader seems to feel differently.
In a since-deleted social media post shortly after his release from jail last year, Thugger hit out at his former collaborator by writing: “Gunna stop acting like we friends on the internet, I don’t know u my guy.”
