Gunna has announced his first headlining shows in two years and celebrated the moment by dropping off the visual to his new single “Cash $hit.”

The Atlanta rapper announced on Monday (July 17) that he would be heading two shows – one titled The Gift and the other The Curse – at New York City’s Barclays Center on September 9 and Los Angeles’ YouTube Theatre on September 28.

Citi cardmembers additionally will have access to presale tickets beginning Tuesday (July 18). The following day, Artist Fan Club and Spotify Fans can purchase tickets, while general on-sale starts Friday (July 21).

Gunna will team with PLUS1 for his upcoming performances and the nonprofit organization Goodr. Every $1 per ticket will go towards The Goodr Foundation, which, according to its website, “strives to end world hunger by cultivating countless resources.”

Along with the announcement, Gunna also dropped off the video for “Cash $hit,” watch it below.

The new video comes after Gunna dropped off a Gift & a Curse earlier this year, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. His first new album since 2022’s DS4EVER,a Gift & a Curse marked the first release since Gunna was released from jail in December.

The “Cash $hit” video also comes after Gunna dropped off a raunchy visual to “Fukumean” earlier in July. Produced by Flo and Dunk Rock, the visual finds Gunna in a sex store with his friends as they prepare for a party on his yacht, which is what the song then soundtracks.

The slim physique Gunna sported in that video actually caused some fans to speculate that the “Drip Too Hard” rapper had been replaced by a clone, which the real Gunna of course denied by writing, “fukumean” on Twitter.

Gunna was sentenced to five years with one year served due to the time he spent behind bars after being arrested in May last year as part of the sweeping indictment against YSL, which prosecutors allege is a “criminal street gang.”

However, Gunna has gotten support from some unlikely places. In a recent episode of his podcast, outspoken rapper and host Joe Budden claimed Gunna’s latest project was better than a lot recent releases.

“They can’t trick me with their little rap conditioning and rap ideologies, fuck outta here,” Budden said. “That Gunna shit sound good. It’s better than [Thug’s album] and the rest of them street n-gga albums that have dropped. It’s better than all of them — with no features and no Metro Boomin, with no help and no support. He did it!”
