Gunna has secured a major Billboard milestone following the release of his A Gift & a Curse album earlier this year.

The Georgia rapper earned his first ever solo top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with “fukumean” this week.

The song is his fourth overall top 10 single following “Drip Too Hard” with Lil Baby, “Lemonade” with Internet Money, Don Toliver and NAV, and “Pushin P” with Future and Young Thug.

Following the news of his top 10 solo hit, Gunna took to his Instagram Stories to share a video of a man balancing on a rope with the caption: “I can’t wait until he fall off. Me:”

A Gift & a Curse was the first album Gunna released following his release from jail in December 2022 after accepting a plea deal in the YSL RICO case.

The rapper has been accused of snitching on Young Thug and Young Slime Life but he’s adamantly denied the accusations.

“While I have agreed to always be truthful, I want to make it perfectly clear that I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way,” Gunna said after his release.

“My focus of YSL was entertainment — rap artists who wrote and performed music that exaggerated and ‘glorified’ urban life in the Black community.”
