Gucci Mane, who has been eyeing B.G. ever since his release from prison became a prospect, has finally joined forces with the rap vet on a new song with Mike WiLL Made-It.

On Monday (November 20), the Southern duo hopped on a new joint produced by the A-list beatmaker. Both MCs showed up with a solid set of bars that are guaranteed to leave fans demanding more.

Thinking ’bout them cold nights, sleeping in that cold cell/ Eating nothin’ but cold food, they let me out that cold jail/ Soon as I touched down I had to give them folks hell/ Took off all them jail clothes, showered off that jail smell,” Guwop raps on the hook, looking back at his own sentence behind bars, before B.G. hops in with a more fresh perspective.

The speculation, fueled by a video of an inmate who resembled B.G. celebrating his freedom with his loved ones, turned out to be false, but Gucci Mane was unaware of that when he made the rap legend a generous offer.

In a tweet posted soon after the rumors began circulating online, he celebrated what he thought was B.G.’s long-awaited release from prison by offering him a $1 million record deal with his 1017 label.
