Gucci Mane’s Wife Claims He Paid $20K Towards Big Scarr’s Funeral After ‘Ghosting’ Allegations

Gucci Mane’s wife Keyshia Ka’Oir has attested to her husband paying for the funeral of his New 1017 Records signee Big Scarr, who died from an accidental overdose on December 22.

The claim from Ka’Oir comes after Gucci was accused by the late rapper’s close friend and collaborator Quezz Ruthless of stiffing Scarr’s family over his funeral costs.

“You say to them you finna pay for the funeral, then you lie,” Quezz said in a recent Instagram Live. “You didn’t have to lie! You ain’t have to go ghost either, cuh. It was gonna get paid for either way. You could’ve just said you ain’t have the money. You don’t get no type of respect for that, cuh.”

He added: “The minute that them folks called yo phone to see if you gon’ pay for the funeral, you blocked them. That’s not real, cuh. You ain’t straight. You only trying to act all real. You posted Scarr talking ’bout some long live — bruh, you ain’t do nothing, cuh.

“When they texted you and asked you about Scarr’s funeral, cuh, you told them folks that Keyshia’s birthday coming up. Man, y’all rich! Y’all can celebrate her birthday any day. Come on now, cuh.”

Scarr’s sister, Alexandra Woods, also accosted Gucci Mane on social media for allegedly failing to keep his funeral promise. She also claimed he demanded Scarr’s 1017 chains back after his death.

However, Ka’Oir took to her Instagram Story to share two receipts from N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home totaling $20,000, with Gucci’s wife writing that everyone should just “leave her husband alone,” and that the payment was made directly to the funeral home.

“20k total @laflare1017 what u did to these folks man,” she wrote before adding in a separate post: “We also sent flowers & not even a thank u” along with a breaking heart emoji.

Big Scarr (real name Alexander Woods) was at his girlfriend’s home in his native Memphis when he died after ingesting a lethal amount of prescription pills. It’s unclear what medication was taken specifically, nor whether the drugs had been prescribed to Scarr.

The 22-year-old rapper was recently laid to rest in Memphis. Fellow rappers NLE Choppa and BigWalkDog were among those in attendance, but Gucci Mane didn’t show.

“You knew not to show up at that funeral,” Quezz added during his Instagram Live. “Even if you would came, you were gonna get stomped at the door. Come on now, fool.”

Gucci Mane, who mourned Big Scarr’s death on social media at the time of his passing, has yet to respond to the allegations.

    1. Another expose for Gucci. There’s something about the way he go about business that harm his rep with people. This ain’t the first. Waka and Slim Dunkin’ another situation too.

      1. Did you not see the receipts? Yes Gucci can be suspect at times but right there is direct evidence. Because the money didn’t touch hands of a relative but to where it should be in the first place is the funeral home. Giving the money to someone just puts his efforts at risk. Sounds like some greedy people

    2. He gave 20 Gs and this fool on social media looking like a damn fool with false allegations. Why do people even put this shit on social media ? Make a phone call and ask. Does anyone remember phones can actually call people ?

      1. yeah but then you dont get that satisfaction of others. why do anything if you cant get likes and look good?

    3. That family is tripping looks like they paid to me using one Visa and a American Express card. One Dec. 30th, and Jan. 02. These people seem greedy and un grateful; 20 racks hell he paid for the entire funeral; sounds like they wanted some pocket change. Gucci didn’t owe them anything he was essentially an employee not his family.

    7. Now they’re looking stupid because I don’t know of any job that pays for your funeral in the first place. They should have had some life insurance on him.

    8. These people are pathetic. I’m still trying to pay off my dad’s funeral costs from 2 years ago. How the hell are they so ungrateful. If my dad’s own siblings offered to pay for funeral and cremation I’d be so appreciative. Hard to do at 27 and losing your mother 6 months later. Money grabbing assholes. Gucci did the right thing paying the funeral home directly otherwise their might be another funeral in the family!

    9. What’s crazy guccie just lost also pmb and offset and shiesty still locked up and his newest signee literally just went in for a murder charge like that man is going through it atm give guccie a fucking break
