Gucci Mane has announced 1017 Records will be keeping the late Big Scarr‘s memory alive with a posthumous album.

On Tuesday (February 14), the 1017 Records boss took to Instagram to announce that Scarr’s project would be dropping later this week. In his post, Gucci shared the tracklist and what appears to be the album cover.

The album is slated to arrive on Friday (February 17), and will feature appearances by Gucci, Key Glock, Pooh Shiesty, Enchanting and Seddy Hendrinx.

“My secret weapon Big Scarr album drops this Friday,” Gucci wrote in this caption. “I hate that he’s not here to celebrate this great body of work that he worked so hard on! #TheSecretWeapon album drops this Friday 2/17 midnight on all platforms #SecretWeapon #1017Mafia.”

News of the album comes after a messy spat between Gucci and Scarr’s family over his funeral costs took place last month. Scarr’s siblings accused Guwop of stiffing the family over the cost of his funeral, but Gucci’s wife Keyshia Ka’Oir pushed back with receipts from N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home that the Atlanta rap legend paid $20,000 towards the ceremony.

Big Scarr’s sister Alexandra Woods, who had initially joined in on dragging Gucci for his alleged lack of involvement with the funeral, replied to Ka’Oir and claimed that the money barely made a dent in the $60,000 it cost in total.

“That 10K ain’t help with nothing but obituaries and flowers, boo,” Woods said on Instagram Live. “My brother worth more than 10K,” she said. “Yea, Gucci sent $10,000 and somebody else on another team. So, it was $20,000 in all. And we ain’t get the flowers. I don’t give a fuck what nobody say.”

Scarr’s father took the high road and thanked Gucci and Atlantic Records for taking a chance with his son and for everything they were able to do for him while he was alive. He also explained he’s not looking for anything and that situation had gotten out of control.

“First of all, I got to send shouts out to Atlantic Records man. They gave my son a big boy chance. Gucci – I got to send shouts out to Gucci too. Y’all might not like it but I got to give my boy what he did, man,” Scarr’s father began. “He gave my son a major major chance man. I can’t let y’all throw dude under the bus like that. Come on now, the truth is the truth, man. I gave nobody permission to do that.”

The situation took another left turn when Scarr’s girlfriend inserted herself into the mix and called out his family for making a mockery of his name by filming a music video at his funeral service. She criticized them for their “disgusting” and “embarrassing” behavior following his death and claimed they never cared about him.

“Y’all really FAILED Alex as a family & friends,” Scarr’s girlfriend wrote. “Y’all aired ALL his personal business out, from the preparation to the funeral till afterwards. WTF happened to privacy?? Flexing in his jewelry like it’s yours.”

She added: “PUT HIS SHIT UP! He not here to put it on you so don’t wear his shit. EMBARRASSING as hell. It’s only one BIG SCARR he can never be duplicated! Can’t even grieve in peace! Too much clout chasing going on! Shit disgusting!”
