GloRilla is paying homage to her Memphis roots on her explicit new single “Lick or Sum,” sampling Three 6 Mafia‘s 1999 smash, “Slob On My Knob.”

Released on Tuesday (May 23), the song flips the focus from male pleasure to female pleasure — much like Gangsta Boo did on “Suck A Little Dick,” her own version of the group’s Tear Da Club Up Thugs spin-off song — as Glo makes her desires crystal clear.

Earlier this month, GloRilla got attention from another legendary act – as Method Man admitted that the Memphis rapper was “big” in his house.

Meth spoke about Big Glo during an interview with HipHopDX on the red carpet of this year’s Grammy Awards, after being asked what new artist he was listening to at the time.

“I don’t really listen to much [of] today’s music. But right now, who’s relevant in my household? Who they playing in my house? Glo,” he said, admitting that “F.N.F” was the anthem of his household.

He went on to say that he in fact met GlorRilla and said she seemed unaware of who the legendary rapper was at the time. Regardless, Meth said she was very kind. “That speaks volumes to her character. Love her,” Meth added.

GloRilla took to her Instagram Stories to respond to Meth’s love, saying she “definitely” knew who the New York rhymer was and said she was a “big fan” of his music “@methodmanofficial I most definitely know who you was lol big fan,” Glo wrote on IG.

The legendary Nas also name-dropped GloRilla on his album King’s Disease III‘s closing bonus cut, “Til My Last Breath.”
