GloRilla has looked back at her days as a “menacing” teen after seeing a meme of herself amid the recent gun controversy surrounding Ja Morant.
Another Instagram Live video of the Memphis Grizzlies player brandishing a gun surfaced online over the weekend. As a result, Morant has earned his second NBA suspension — he received his first in March after being spotted with another weapon.

As the new video became viral, dozens of memes were shared on social media, especially Twitter. There was, however, one post that stood out: a meme of a very young GloRilla with a gun in her arm and a huge smile on her face.
The caption reads, “ja morant every month,” to which Big Glo quickly caught wind of and offered a hilarious response.
“I was a menace in high school I’m so embarrassed,” she wrote.
In other related news, Glorilla, along with Kendrick Lamar, and a number of other rappers has been tapped to perform at the Austin City Limits 2023 festival later this year.
Last week, the organizers revealed the event’s lineup with three-day ticket passes now on sale as of press time starting at $335.
In addition to Kendrick headlining and Big Glo hitting the stage, other Hip Hop acts such as Coi Leray, Lil Yachty, Little Simz and singer Kali Uchis are slated to make appearances as well.
“Your 2023 Lineup 3-Day Tickets go on sale TODAY at 12pm CT,” the festival announced in a recent Instagram post. “New this year! No surprises at checkout—all fees & shipping costs are included upfront.”

The Memphis native is also expected to appear on Lil Baby’s upcoming It’s Only Us Tour, along with The Kid Laroi, and several other heavy hitters.
Baby revealed plans for the IOU Tour in April with a cinematic trailer shared on Instagram. The trailer shows him relaxing in the pool when he comes up with the idea for the cross-country trek.
He then FaceTimed LAROI and Big Glo, along with fellow supporting acts Hxncho, Gloss Up and 4PF representative Rylo Rodriguez, to see if they’d be down to join him on the road.
