During an exclusive interview that premiered in the DX Daily today (October 7), Wu-Tang Clan lyricist Ghostface Killah revealed that Supreme Clientele 2 is being worked on. Fully titled Supreme Clientele 2: Blue & Cream, the album is described as “a whole different ball game” by Ghostface.
According to the rapper, who spoke to DX during a press conference held for Wu Tang’s A Better Tomorrow album, he’s waiting on samples to be cleared and is also hoping to secure several features for the project.
Additionally, Ghostface shared that Supreme Clientele 2 will be “one of the best albums” he’s ever released.
“I think I get better at what I do,” Ghostface Killah said. “I learn. You know what I mean? That’s why with the Blue & Cream Supreme Clientele 2 it’s gonna be a whole different ball game, baby. I just gotta hope my samples get cleared. I just don’t got the people on it that I want to get on it because I’ve been doing so much other stuff like that. So, once I can complete that and maybe find a home for it—Cause I haven’t shopped it yet. I’m just doing what I do…It’ll probably be one of the best albums I ever did. After that I’m done with it.”
Despite what he feels is a lack of radio support, Ghostface says he’s still lethal with a pen when compared with other rappers.
“You got certain emcees right now that’s out there that you see all the time and you hear ‘em on radio and shit like that,” he said. “But I never really had radio behind me, but I know that I’m lethal. And they know I’m lethal. [Them] artists know I’m lethal. They know that if you put my pen against they pen it’s gonna swallow they pen.”

ghostdini the wizard of poetry was kind of a flop dont front, it had some jams but its pretty weak for a ghost album and i know wu massacre wasnt a solo album but that shit was weak too had some jams but way too short i just hope supreme clientele isnt a 30 minute album i hate that bullshit

As a group, WTC has back to back classics with 36 Chambers and Forever. As solo reps of the group, 5 out of 9 (Ghost, Rae, ODB, Meth, GZA) have released classics, and Ghost has multiple. As great as the Tribe was and always will be, they don’t hold a candle to the WTC
everything wu dropped is classic, tribe was alright but that shits boring now nobody listens to tribe anymore maybe scenario and 1 or 2 other jams but wu tang clan aint nuthin ta fuck wit! Wu tang forever!
Harlem’s Reckoning, Wu-Forever was not a classic by any means. It shouldn’t have been a double album. There was just way too many filler tracks. If they would have dropped a single album then I would say, yes a near classic, but as it stands, no way. Wu-Forever was good, but not great. Only “36 Chambers” is a true Wu classic. The rest of Wu’s group albums are garbage and there was only a hand full of the solo joints that was classic such as Cuban Linx, Ironman, Liquid Swords and Return to 36 Chambers.
Ghosts pen has been seething from 36 chambers an still burnin holes in 99% of these cookie cut, industry, fake ass think it’s cool to be gangsta when they ain’t never been in a day….wu tang is for the babies!

I just hope it knocks front to back like Supreme Clientel does and that those samples get cleared becuz you know Ghost has gr8 taste in samples. a dope Ghost album can make the world right again, becuz this current shit don’t cut it

Ghostface PLEASE save us heads from this bullshit music! That Supreme Clientele album is honestly top 5 for me. I still bang that shit on the regular! ONE!!!!! Just make sure the beats are right. Beautiful and banging. Cant wait!
