On March 30th,
The Game, Young Jeezy, Korn, +44 and
Rise Against will take the stage in
LA’s Kodak Theatre for the Boost Mobile RockCorps (BMRC) concert.
BMRC, a
national youth volunteerism movement, has influenced and motivated over 16,000
youth to get involved in their community. The concert is being held to reward
3,000 local youth who have volunteered four hours of community service for the
organization.
The concert
is being held in hopes of “harnessing the power of music to inspire
volunteerism.” BMRC will also be offering entrance to this summer’s most popular
concerts – for which the only way to get tickets is to contribute four hours of
volunteering.
Last year,
BMRC made stops in Atlanta, Houston,
Chicago, Detroit,
LA, and Washington,
D.C.
