Freddie Gibbs has accused Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR of biting his style with their upcoming album Some Sexy Songs 4 U.
The title of the collaborative project, which is stylized as $ome $exy $ongs 4 U or $$$4U for short, bears a resemblance to that of Gibbs’ 2022 album $oul $old $eparately, which he also tends to shorten to $$$.
Drizzy and PND’s joint LP additionally features cartoon bunnies on its back cover, similar to the “Big Rabbit” mascot that the Gary, Indiana rapper has adopted for years.
The similarities have not gone unnoticed by Gangsta Gibbs, who aired his grievances with the OVO Sound duo on Thursday (February 13).
“Damn they even stole the rabbits too. I’m flattered,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter), shortly after Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR unveiled the tracklist for $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, which drops on Friday (February 14).
He then looked to capitalize on the moment by directing fans to his aforementioned album.
“$$$4u [heart emoji],” he quipped while resharing a spoof “Greatest Hits Collection” commercial he filmed in 2022 to promote $oul $old $eparately.
The ESGN MC also retweeted several posts from fans calling out Drizzy and PND for allegedly stealing from him, making sure his point was felt.
Damn they even stole the rabbits too. I’m flattered.

Though Freddie Gibbs has yet to cross paths with Drake as either a collaborator or an adversary, he has taken cues of his own from the 6 God in the past.
Back in 2021, Gibbs dropped a freestyle over Drizzy’s Certified Lover Boy into “Champagne Poetry” and addressed everything from Kendrick Lamar‘s “smoking on your top five” boast from Baby Keem‘s “Family Ties” to being snubbed by the Grammys and BET Awards.
He was equally outspoken when Drizzy and Dot’s long-simmering beef finally boiled over last year, reacting to the latter’s line on “Like That” where he rapped: “And your best work is a light pack / N-gga, Prince outlived Mike Jack.”
“First of all Mike ain’t dead,” joked Gibbs, who hails from the same city as the late King of Pop, on social media following the song’s release.
After the two Hip Hop titans traded blows on diss tracks like “Push Ups,” “Euphoria,” “Family Matters,” “Meet the Grahams” and “Not Like Us,” Freddie gave a surprising answer when declaring a winner of the battle.
“The record labels,” he wrote succinctly.
bruh think he invented the dollar sign
Dollar signs and rabbits ain’t a coincidence stupid. Find any artist of any genre who’s done the same thing. You can’t jackass.
Yes I can. Every rapper in existence stealing concepts from other artists and other genres.
Now who’s stupid – 3 dollar signs and rabbits are not a coincidence. Stfu and stop embarrassing yourself dumbass failure.
You and Ye need to drop your album already! Also his other projects the Bump J album, Bully, Moose, Yung Lean, and finally Carti’s I Am Music!
Garbage, Trash, Audio Diarrhea, and 🐂 💩
Notebook crook
Drake is gay, Freddie Gibbs is overrated, PartyNextDoor is a druggie, Kendrick is over hyped,Ye is too far gone, Playboi Carti sucks ass,and Tyler The Creator hasn’t had a good album since Egor
Go tell your friends what artist you like and don’t like. This isn’t Facebook dipshit.
STFU bitch. Go back to playing your Lil Uzi Vert, wearing dresses and lipstick and while pretending to be gangsta.
Drake just sucks. He can’t rap and his crooning is subpar at best
HAHA I see UMG tryna stop the boy from selling records. Try harder Luciano your daughter in law repping OVO on Drake’s Plotttwist page hahahaha. Just bought the album on the OVO site, aint on one stopping us, definitely no label paid blog.
Gurd Lard – Gay Lord
Unoriginal art department at that label
Gibbs definitely had the better $$$$ album.
