Freddie Gibbs has learned about the allegations of rape against Akademiks, and he’s wasted no time in roasting his long-running rival.
On Saturday (December 30), Ak’s ex-girlfriend Ziya Abashae claimed on Instagram Live that the media personality along with two of his friends sexually assaulted her.

“You tried to save yourself after your friends assaulted me. Whether or not you got drunk or not, I know that when you woke up, you were on top of me too. You raped me too,” she said in part.
Abashae also claimed that a rape kit had been conducted following the alleged incident. Akademiks had earlier said that his ex had engaged in an orgy with his friends and that it was consensual.

Gibbs caught wind of the drama and took to social media on Sunday (December 31) to taunt the otherwise outspoken Akademiks for remaining tight-lipped on the allegations.
“@Akademiks quiet as a church mouse today happy new year U rapist ass bitch,” he wrote. “Hoe ass n-gga I’mma come to court and slap U.”

Gangsta Gibbs further rubbed salt in the wound by posting a video of himself smoking a cigar and chuckling heartily while ringing in the New Year.

The beef between the two dates back to 2020 when Akademiks was co-hosting the show Everyday Struggle and has flared up several times since.
Their most recent back-and-forth came last summer when Freddie Gibbs added to Ak’s woes after his live podcast at the 2023 Roots Picnic reportedly struggled to draw a crowd.

The Gary, Indiana rapper reposted a viral clip of the taping, where just a smattering of people could be seen in attendance, and simply wrote: “Damn.”
Days later, Akademiks got his own back by plugging a T-shirt poking fun at Gibbs and his alleged sexual kinks.
The $30 tee, adorned with the not-so-flattering nickname “Spreadie Gibbs,” features a blurry screenshot of what appears to be the rapper spreading his butt cheeks for the camera.
“Happy 41st Birthday to my former Opp @FreddieGibbs… I aint know they had a whole shirt selling of u showing ur a**hole to ur ex before u got PEGGED,” Ak wrote on X. “Yall go cop a t shirt of Spreadie Gibbs…go help suppport his BABY… them records aint finna do it.”

The post came after Gibbs’ ex-girlfriend, adult film star Destiny Fox, claimed she had “a picture of you spreading your asshole in my phone” after he allegedly ghosted her when she fell pregnant.
