Akademiks has dampened Freddie Gibbs‘ birthday celebrations by adding fuel to the “Spreddie Gibbs” fire.
Big Ak reminded Gangsta Gibbs and the public about his not-so-flattering nickname on Wednesday (June 14) — Gibbs’ 41st birthday — by plugging a graphic T-shirt featuring a blurry image of the Indiana rapper appearing to spread open his butt cheeks to the camera.

Fans couldn’t believe their eyes that the alleged image of Gibbs’ rear end could somehow be turned into a T-shirt for people to purchase.
“Bro if somebody buys this and wear it lol the world is done for,” one Twitter user replied, while another added: “Ahhhh my fucking eyes…. I can’t unsee this shit now.”
“Spreddie Gibbs” began trending in May when Freddie’s ex-girlfriend, Destini, exposed some of his alleged sexual kinks while claiming he ghosted her when she fell pregnant.
“Blocking me on twitter while i have a picture of you spreading your asshole in my phone is insane … imma spare them that one though,” she teased in the midst of her Twitter rant.
The Alfredo rapper seemingly brushed off her allegation by responding with a brief tweet that simply read: “The yams.”
Gibbs began dating the adult film star in 2020 and wasn’t shy about documenting their relationship on social media, from traveling to Paris together to buying matching Cubs jerseys.
However, Destini — better known as The Fit Mami — claimed the rapper suddenly began ignoring her earlier this year after learning about her pregnancy, despite saying he wanted to start a family with her.
Akademiks’ birthday tweet comes shortly after Freddie Gibbs piled misery on the podcaster after he seemingly struggled to draw a crowd at The Roots’ Picnic in Philadelphia earlier this month.
After various tweets claimed that “only eight people” showed up to his live taping of an episode of his Off the Record podcast, Gibbs reveled in his rivals’ misfortune by sharing a viral video of the low turnout on Twitter while simply writing: “Damn.”

Prior to that, a truce actually appeared to be on the cards as Gibbs told Funk Flex last year that he wanted a “sit-down” with Akademiks and that they would “probably be cool” if they simply got to know each other.
“I love Akademiks,” he said during an interview with the Hot 97 DJ. “We gonna have a sit-down, but you had to get that shit for all that shit you’ve been kicking. You had to get that.”

He added: “I think if we were to have a conversation, we’d probably be cool. I take it, too. I’ll take everything he say and I love it. But you gotta take it when I give back.”
