Frank Ocean Performs “Forrest Gump” At 2013 Grammy Awards

Frank Ocean kept it short and sweet at the 2013 Grammy Awards.

The Odd Future crooner took the stage by jogging into a frame that depicted him running. He pulled up to the mic to sing a cut off his major label debut Channel Orange, “Forrest Gump,” remaining at the podium for a portion of the track before retreating backstage.

Ocean, who lost Album of the Year to Mumford & Sons’ Babel, won a Grammy earlier in the evening for Rap/Sung Collaboration with Jay-Z and Kanye West for “No Church in the Wild.” The-Dream joined them stage to address the audience during the speech.

      1. were your parents as trashy as you are? lmao stupid question, they obviously are. from that comment alone i can already tell your never gonna make more than $20,000 a year in your life. and your obviously so ignorant you probably think thats good money lolol

    1. This guy cant sing but yet he’s regarded as an amazing talent???? you gotta be kidding me. And did he really write a song about forest gump…lol… music is a str8 joke

    2. How did this person in silly headband and banana suit with that awful out of tune voice win any awards. Grammys are clearly not awarded based on talent. I thought gay men had higher standards and taste than this.

    3. lemme guess without scrolling down: there’s lots of homophobia-filled comments.

      ahaaha ignorant fucknuts.

oh, and I expect more dumbasses to post too. 🙂

    4. Frank Ocean can’t sing. That’s it. No hate, no homophobia, no nothin. He’s basically Pharrell tryna be a full time singer.

    5. brave for taking on an original song on the Grammy’s..his singing is good for someone of the new school with no auto-tune

      1. What a load of shit. You’re giving this guy an excuse when the truth is he sucked ass! Fuck auto tune. My grandmother could have sung it better and she’d dead… but she wouldn’t sing something that a 5 year old could write!
