Fat Joe is releasing a new duet with his old pal Remy Ma as an appetizer for his upcoming album, due out next month.
On Friday (July 12), Joey Crack, Remy, and the production duo Cool & Dre shared “Outta Control.”
The summertime banger appropriately borrows the hook from DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince’s “Summertime,” and features Joe interpolating a section of Juelz Santana‘s early-aughts classic “Dipset (Santana’s Town).”
“Got a dope connection, and a coke connection/ We expose and press/ You have no protection,” Joe raps, with the same phrasing Juelz uses to discuss his “whole selection” and “ho collection” on his track.
Remy uses the beginning of her verse to discuss the 2007 shooting that got her sentenced to eight years in prison.
She spits: “They say I shot my friend over a band — and?/ Imagine what I do to a bitch that I can’t stand.” Those bars have resulted in some online backlash.

Joe teased his upcoming album earlier this week.
On Wednesday (July 10), a reporter for TMZ caught up with the Terror Squad boss in Los Angeles to talk about his peers such as Nas, DJ Premier, LL Cool J, Common and Pete Rock all releasing new music in 2024.
“Breaking news: Fat Joe be dropping a[n] album in August, too, so put me in that list of pioneers and legends and icons,” he shared.
The 53-year-old MC released his last album back in 2021, and stated the very next year that he didn’t plan on releasing fresh material anytime soon.
Beyond music, Joe and E-40 made an appearance at a Joe Biden rally in North Carolina. A day after the 81-year-old Democrat debated Donald Trump as part of the 2024 presidential election, the two rappers performed at an event for his campaign.
About the alliance, an official working for the veteran politician’s team referred to 40 and Joe as “legends of the music industry, who understand the importance of utilizing their platforms to ensure their fan base understands the stakes of this election.”
Earlier this year, the New York City native and Kamala Harris got together to discuss the legal repercussions of marijuana possession. In mid-March, the rapper moderated a closed-door meeting with the vice president, Kentucky governor Andy Beshear and a number of people who have been pardoned for previous weed-related convictions.
Remy Ma is a goat.
😭😭😭 She’s a “goat” with 1 mediocre album on her resume? I’ll take totally delusional and non credible commenter for a billion Alex….
Hey “B” is you stupid or is you dumb? Smh

“The 53 year-old” This dumb fuktard Lil Shawn the sheep simp Setaro and this retarded DunceC@pD/X SHIT staff always puts the person’s age in their pointless posts like it’s some valuable info. Hey Lil Shawn the certified cornball culture vulture their age ISN’T relevant at all and you don’t sound smarter referring to the person as “the 53 year old”, “the 57 year old” etc. Smh. Nothing but a bunch of Cr@ckerJack box bogus bloggers who don’t know shlt except how to be cringy and corny af. *Farts*
Notice how this bogus blogger calls Santana’s song a “classic” which dropped in the early 2000s but not the Fresh Prince’s 1991 Summertime song which is way more of a CLASSIC than Dipset. Not that any more proof was needed that this tr@sh staff are all a bunch of corny culture vultures with less than ZERO credibility.
NGL, I check for Fat Joe, but this ain’t it.
