Fat Joe has predicted that Kendrick Lamar and SZA will go on to become the greatest rapper/singer duo of all time.
Speaking on his podcast Joe and Jada, the “Make it Rain” rapper spoke about how the longtime collaborators are taking over Hip Hop.
Joey Crack said: “What you don’t know is that they’re going to be best friends and all that forever. Right now, they got about six or seven songs. They are number one. They could take the spot, 100%. They are fire together. I’m just saying if it ever gets rocky… [If it doesn’t] then they’re going to take the slot.
He added: “They’re on their way. They call Ja and Ashanti the greatest duo of all time, I’m just saying SZA and Kendrick are solo artists.”

Kendrick and SZA recently made chart history with their number one hit “Luther”.
The song now holds the record for most weeks at number one for a song with co-billed solo men and women, surpassing Diddy and Faith Evans’ 1994 Biggie tribute “I’ll Be Missing You”.
Only one collaborative song – Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men’s “One Sweet Day” – has spent longer at the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
“Luther” is also the biggest Hip Hop single of the decade, surpassing the 11 weeks Roddy Ricch spent at number one with “The Box” in 2020.
“Luther” has now spent thirteen weeks on top of the Billboard Hot 100 after originally being released in November.
SZA previously revealed some of the profound advice that her “All the Stars” collaborator once gave her.
During an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show she shared a great tip she got from K. Dot.
“One time he gave me the pointer of pretending to watch myself from above,” she explained. “He sees himself while he’s performing. And that actually changed a lot for me. It’s weird ’cause when I was watching myself from afar, I was like, ‘This is not what I wanna see! I wanna see something different. I wanna turn up!”
She continued: “And then I just started invoking a completely different energy and spirit within myself. That third person – he’s also a Gemini. So you never know. He’s already split in half.”
