Fallout From Chris Brown Investigation Continues

    Rihanna has left Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Her departure came on Monday night, using a decoy to throw off media, as she exited through the back. According to reports, Rihanna is in Barbados now, recovering from injuries she suffered during an alleged argument with her former boyfriend Chris Brown [click to read].

    Various news and gossip websites have reported that Rihanna was badly bruised, noting everything from scratches to bite marks and some bruises and or contusions on her face and body. The details of the matter have not been officially given. Most of the information out currently is speculated or reports from unnamed sources.

    Due to the events that have transpired, Rihanna has been forced to make cancellations. According to People.com, the singer has had to cancel concerts. The most recent concert cancellation involves Jakarta in Indonesia. This is the second cancellation of a Rhianna concert in Indonesia, and a local promoter says this could hurt the singer.

    “We spoke to Tony Goldring of William Morris Agency, and he said the concert had to be canceled because of an assault case involving Rihanna‘s boyfriend,” Troy Reza Warokka told Agence France Presse. “He offered to reschedule but we don’t think we’ll take it up, not this year at least. This is her second postponement. Her fans are traumatized and we’ve spent so much money on production and promotional materials.”

    Chris Brown has been facing some backlash due to the case. As reported, Wrigley has suspended an ad featuring Brown [click to read] Now, KIIS FM in Cleveland has decided not to play any of his songs on the station.

    “After the alleged incident, the phones exploded,” host Java Joel wrote on the station’s Web site. “It’s all that people wanted to talk about. They were outraged at his alleged behavior and wondered why we were continuing to support his music. I agreed and immediately pulled all Chris Brown songs from my show until this thing shakes out in the legal system.”

    Their program director, Bo Williams, also spoke on the matter, according to Eonline.com.

    “I then made the decision to rid the whole station of Chris Brown songs while this plays out,” Williams explained. “We are fans of Chris Brown‘s music, and this is not something that will last forever. But it appears that Chris has made some poor choices, we are following the lead of our listeners, and we will not be supporting Chris Brown on 96.5 KIIS FM in Cleveland until the alleged situation gets resolved.”
