The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards’ “Best Hip Hop Video” category will pit Hip Hop’s latest talent against seasoned vets as the likes of B.o.B and Kid Cudi go up against artists that include Hip Hop powerhouses Eminem, Jay-Z, and Kanye West.
Eminem, who took home a moonman for “Best Hip Hop Video” at the VMA’s last year for “We Made You,” will make his way into the category yet again. Drake and Kid Cudi, who both received their first ever VMA nominations last year, also receive nominations for “Best Hip Hop Video.”
The nominee’s for “Best Hip Hop Video” are as follows:
“Airplanes” – B.o.B featuring Hayley Williams
“Not Afraid” – Eminem
“Forever” – Drake, Kanye West, Lil Wayne & Eminem
“On To The Next One” – Jay Z & Swizz Beatz
“Pursuit of Happiness” – Kid Cudi featuring MGMT & Ratatat
“I can remember growing up as a child and watching the VMA’s and wondering what it was like to hold a moonman and seeing the commercials and saying ‘I Want My MTV.’ And to now be multi-nominated on my 1st project is crazy and not to mention a blessing and an honor in itself,’ said Atlanta rapper B.o.B in regards to his nomination. “I want to thank MTV and the fans for adding to an already amazing year.”
The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards will air on Sunday, September 12 at 9/8c.

None of those videos were really that good but it should go to either Kid Cudi or Jay.
knowing the MTV audience that votes for this ish, the winner will be Airplanes or Not Afraid.
“Not Afraid” was a great video, and the best out of that group. I really disliked the Jay video even though I like the song. And the Forever video wasn’t anything particuarly notable after the song.
cool i need to know this because mtv hasnt been a credible source since like 1998.
