Following the CZARFACE album release by 7L & Esoteric along with Wu-Tang Clan’s Inspectah Deck, an action figure will be released today (February 25). Inspired by the character of “Czarface,” heralded toy-maker Sucklord and Lamour Supreme in New York City.
The figure, commissioned by veteran emcee/producer Esoteric for his son, is available to the public for $150 USD, directly from EsotericHipHop.com beginning today. Eso also made a video chronicling the process:
There have been a host of other action figures through Hip Hop’s history, including Paul Wall, Master P, and Ghostface Killah—who is featured on CZARFACE (“Savagely Attack”). The Brick Records effort also features Roc Marciano, Action Bronson and Vinnie Paz.
(February 25)
UPDATE: In less than 12 hours, Esoteric announced via Twitter that he had sold out of the CZARFACE action figures.
