RELATED: Eminem “The Marshall Mathers LP 2” Release Date, Cover Art, Tracklisting & Album Stream
his first album without a Dr Dre beat since being with Aftermath, unless there’s one on the deluxe edition
check out tupac all eyes on me and snoop doggystyle and tell me who was the executive producer it was doc dre although he didn’t produce every song {doggystyle maybe} there or make every beat he put the album together got rid of the shit and gave us the quality sound you can only get from the doc look at kendricks album did he produce anything not sure but put he put the finish touches on added that dre sound and another classic and by the way rick rubin songs ond the album are dope especially that joe walsh sample fuck me Eminem The Doc and Rick have created a classic
Notice that not a single track on the album features production from dr dre. I read the bonus tracks production credits as well and none of them had dr dre. I know Dr Dre is slowing down on production but even on recovery he produced a couple of tracks.
At least eminem is showing off his production skills.
Dre did some mixing, so it isn’t like Dre got axed from Marshall’s life, but it defiantly seems that Dre somehow hot replaced by Rick.
Why no D12 or Slaughterhouse? I thought if any guess appearances he would do something with them at the very least. A huge let down. No Dre. production either, wow eminem is really letting his biggest fans down. Don’t care for the beats on this cd they are boring. Good thing I listen to the lyrical content & fuck a rap beat.
Because no one from D12 is really active anymore? Bizzare left, Swifty is trying to go solo, Mr. Porter is the producer/hypeman, Con Artist is mia, and Proof is dead. He hasn’t used D12 in an album since TES.
OP is retarded, don’t even waste ur time, he still hasn’t understood that yet
Funny how Rick Rubin produced all the worst songs.
Eminem produced some of the best songs off this album. And Dr Dre too.
All the Rick Rubin produced songs on this album feel out of place. If only Eminem had produced more tracks for this album, it would have been even better,
If you you forget those 2,3 Rick Rubin produced songs like Love Game, Berzerk and So Far this album is classic shit.
Tracks like,
Brainless
So much Better
Baby,
Thats just classic EM, how can someone even complain about that?
Evil Twin, Bad Guy, Legacy are straight fire also.
This album is seriously his best work since The Eminem Show- Encore. Very nice job. If Rick Rubin had layed his dirty hands off this album and if we would have more Eminem or Dre produced tracks this could have really made an even better album,
But with all that said, besides a couple of wack tracks that mostly include those singles, this album is straight fire!!!
Good job EM.
I guess it’s just a matter of opinion. I’ve been a Slim fan since the beginning, and I think “So Far” & “Love Game” are classic Shady & are dope as fuck.
certainly is a matter of opinion as so m,uch better is corny as fuck, the hook totally ruins it, im with ya boy here ^ love game, so far, rhyme or reason = the shit
Yeah, it is a little corny, but So Much Better sounds like something fresh off The Eminem Show.
This album tops Recovery, Relapse and Encore..Best work in years, you really have to listen twice before judging, its seriously dope as fuck.
Listen to,
Bad Guy
Brainless
Legacy
Evil Twin
Wicked Ways
So Much Better
Beautiful Pain
Baby
Groundhog Day
headlights
Once you’ve heard all those tracks just mentionned, than you can jugdge faggot..This alubm is fuckin classic, what do u want more ???
People always complain, but even after those shit ass singles, this album turned out to be dope as fuck.. Quit hating, this is eminem’s best work in years and probably his last.
How can an album be classic if there are songs that are straight up wack? Did Midnight Marauders, Illmatic or OB4CL have wack songs? Ans: NO, they had no wack songs. That’s part of what makes an album classic. Get your tongue out of Eminem’s ass.
Yes, it has like two or three honestly whack tracks, but the rest of the album is absolutely fucking brilliant, apart from one or two ”meh” beats, still, those songs have excellent lyricism.
Not a classic, because a couple of songs and one or two pop hits let it down, but still a VERY good album, because the tracks really show his lyricism is still completely on point if not better, and the overall feel of the album is a really nostalgic MMLP/ TES type but with a modernised sound, 15 years into his career…
Eminem’s Stillmatic.
u left out groundhog day, rap god, and baby go fuck yourself.
I was actually very sceptical and didn’t expect much from this album after those shitty singles, but turnes out this album is dope as Fuck!!
Some of the tracks on this album are the best he has made in years!! I don’t want to sound like a stan or anything, but this album clearly tops Recovery, Relapse and Encore in my opinion….
Those singles were the worst he could have put out to promote his album cause the rest of the album is straight FIREEE !!!!
Bezerk & Survival are actually pretty dope. The Monster isn’t a fave of mine, but its not bad.
I didn’t think he could do it, but this album has that old Slim/Marshall feel to it!
Good shit!
http://www.imdb.com/media/rm789023232/tt0087800?ref_=tt_ov_i
yet again dr dre doing nothing on an album. The game NEEDS the super producers back. Dre and Kanye gave us so many hits through the 90s and 2000s
LYRICS > BEATS
nope, its equal
if you need beat and catchy hook go listen to florida lil wayne kanye rick ross wiz 2chainz and wack rappers
Lyrics are more important than beats but u gotta have half decent ones at least. never understood how rappers can pick wack beats unless its for a pop/radio single
The lyrics are important, but the beat selection is too.
If the beat is horrible but the lyrics are good, it makes it a much worse song overall.
not 1 fuckin track produced by Dre?? SMFH, fuck was em thinking? production on this shit was wack. Relapse had sick ass beats
you dumbass
The difference between MMLP and MMLP2 is the fact that Em has sharpened his tongue and perfected his skill.
Kewl! I can’t wait to hear Miley on Iggys new album!
HipHop is alive!

Dr. Dre produced 0 songs this year
thats crazy for real. not even his name mentioned in any credits. this guy is outta music making business for good.
He is probably busy working with Jon Connor!
His name isn’t NOT mentioned, he is in the credits, he mixed a few songs
What alot of people don’t know is Dre the Docter didn’t have so much to do with the first Marshall Mathers LP either. A lot of beats were made by Brass Bothers, among others, back then.
the album budget must of been cheap with all these wack beats
cheap budget and #1 worldwide
Not a classic, but his best since Eminem Show hands down.
How can people complain about the production??? Most of the tracks have good production, and Rubin with Eminem added a layoer to the album on Rhyme or Reason, So Far, Love Game, and made the album sound different but still fresh.
With tracks like Bad Guy, So Much Better, Rhyme or Reason, Groundhog Day, Legacy, Baby, Rap God, Brainless, So Far, Love Game, Headlights, Wicked Ways, Evil Twin. Man…..Em delivered. Only weak tracks were Survival and The Monster, and one meh track with Asshole. But even in Asshole, Em delivers the bars.
EMINEM’s voice is so annoying and he is corny.
Eminem rhymes like he has a cock down his throat.
No better than a 3/5, and that’s being generous. A large part of that is the suspect production. Rick Rubin sucks on this. Em can still rap better than most even when he’s not even trying. Not his best lyrical performance though.
Even a few stellar Drake verses or hooks would not have saved this album from its overall mediocrity. Nowhere near as good as Drake, Mac Miller, Logic, Chance The Rapper, Run The Jewels, J. Cole, Earl Sweatshirt, Vince Staples, Kanye, Greenhouse and several other hip-hop albums.
Conclusion: Eminem continues to suck, while Drake continues his ascension to being one of the all-time greats.
Keep lying, Drake stan.
Dr Dre production SUCKS DICK in 2013. Stop bitching.
someone tells me what all of this means
Bad Guy, Groundhog Day, and Evil Twin would all be hits on the original MMLP.
bad guy wouldnt
15 Greats songs but then.. THE 5 WORST SONGS IVE EVER HEARD
Berzerk (way to random)
Rhyme or Reason (stupid beat and way too fucking corny)
So Far… (fucking country beat)
Desperation (fucking country feature)
Stronger Than I Was (Eminems attempt to be drake but he cant sing)
It’s not even really a fucking Eminem song, you idiot. It’s a song from Kim’s prospective.
M Phazes on the come up!! daaamn
Very little involvement by Dr. Dre
He should have called this “The White Album”.
That’s the whitest track listing I have ever seen on a Rap record, from the producers to the guests.
word
The Beatles already used that
“Dre did some mixing, so it isn’t like Dre got axed from Marshall’s life, but it defiantly seems that Dre somehow hot replaced by Rick.”
At least Dre is somehow involved rather than just lending his name on for promotional value but even on GKMC he appeared on a couple of songs.
“What alot of people don’t know is Dre the Docter didn’t have so much to do with the first Marshall Mathers LP either. A lot of beats were made by Brass Bothers, among others, back then.”
1. Dr Dre still produced a few songs on the album.
2. The only other producer other than Dr Dre, Bass Brothers, and Eminem himself was 45 king for stan. This albums sees him working with other producers but no dr dre.
