Eminem has received an on-wax response from Suge Knight‘s son after his decades-old diss song “Smack You” leaked online.
A collaboration with Polish rap group Elita Kaliska, “Ocean Krwi” finds Suge Jr. taking aim at “internet gangsters” who “dry snitch” and make threats online, while also calling for his father to be released from prison.

While the target of his verse is anonymous, the Death Row heir explicitly described it as a rebuttal to “Smack You” in a statement about the song.
“Eminem claims that the song was created in the mid-2000s. It’s strange that it’s being released now, when my father has no chance to defend himself. It’s also strange that he had many opportunities to tell him all this to his face, but didn’t have the courage,” Knight said, per NME.
He added: “An honorable man doesn’t kick the defenseless, so I decided to defend my father’s honor and record my response as part of a song that happened to be about this topic. If Em claims that this song is from two decades ago and declared in it that he will reveal the alleged truth about my father’s connection to the attack on ‘Pac, then where is his truth? Maybe he will finally have the courage to confess it?
“However, in the song, I mainly discuss the topic of online hate from anonymous people and the rumors that my father killed 2Pac. They were best friends, and although many bad things can be said about my father, he cannot be blamed for ‘Pac’s death.”
Suge Jr. then implicated Diddy in the 1996 killing, saying: “The world will soon learn a lot about this attack — I’m sure Diddy knows a lot about it, and I could even present evidence in this case, but I’ve already talked about ‘Pac once I said it and that’s where I’ll end it. I want to live.”
On “Smack You,” which leaked in January, Eminem blamed Suge Knight for the deaths of both 2Pac and Biggie, rapping: “I’m holding Suge responsible for the deaths of the two greatest rappers to ever grace the face of this planet.”

The Detroit native then added: “If only the late, great Mr. Christopher Wallace could talk / He could tell you himself / I’m holding Suge responsible for the death of Ja Rule or anyone else down with Tha Row.”
