Eminem Performs Tracks From Full Discography At ACL Fest

Eminem has been scarce recently when it comes to performing.

The Detroit native recently announced his Shady XV project for Black Friday with now being as good a time as any to begin promoting it.

Headlining Austin City Limits, Em trotted out songs from his entire catalog. Shady XV celebrates the 20th Anniversary of Eminem’s second and landmark studio album, The Slim Shady LP.

According to Fuse, Em performed everything from “Airplanes” to “Stan.” He also performed  “Kill You,” “Business,” “The Way I Am,” “Toy Soldiers,” “My Name Is,” “Without Me,” “The Real Slim Shady” and newer joints “The Monster” and “Love The Way You Lie.” He would close his set with “Not Afraid.”

Eminem’s most recent performance was when he brought out Rihanna at Lollapalooza. Since then he’s been out of the public eye, presumably working on music.

      1. I agree EM did fell off. But it’s understandable after all those years. He still has more hits and classics than most artists out there. Why you so mad though? EM is a sombody, and also he did fall off, he had to be something in order to have “fall off”. OP was a nobody since birth, you can’t fall of from anything, you already a loser

      1. And yeah, his fans used a lot of toilet paper. Flushed those pop albums down the toilet. I don’t hear anyone talking or discussing Em’s albums. Not even one…person!

      2. Isnt Gucci Mane and Chief Keef a hoodrat thing?Makes sense not hearing people discussing about Em’s new shit in your wormhole.

    1. Its called ‘Shady XV’…

He’s literally spelled out 15 in roman numerals in the title…

and STILL, somehow, DX have decided its to mark a 20 year anniversary.

      sigh…

      1. Lol, and they alkso messed up by saying it is celebrating The Slim Shady LP when they are actually celebrating 15 years of Shady Records, not the Slim Shady LP.

      2. As to the DX getting more stuff wrong….Em has been all over the place with mini tours since he dropped MMLP2. What’s DS saying about him being scarce and out of the public eye since Loolapalooza? SMDH. If your going to do journalism, try to get some of it right. Sheesh.

      1. i get the sense you might be trying to troll, but the funny thing is you’re right in the past few years Drake has been putting out better music than Eminem.

      2. he does tho the only getting played are his pop features with rihanna. All his other songs recently are forgettable and dont have replay value. While almost all of drakes songs are hits and have replay value.

      3. You got it all wrong. A lot of Eminem songs have replay value while not every Drake song is a hig and has replay value,

      4. You must be kidding.. You are probably too young and weren’t part of the time when Eminem was banging all over the place.. To say Drake has more replay value?!.. Are you for real? Eminem has more classics and defining songs than a lot of artists across all genres of music.

Say what you want about him falling off. But the guy has made so many classics in his first 4,5 years of his mainstream career that whatever shit he made slightly before and after his comeback is irrelevant. He Will always stay a legend.. While drake is just a soft ass faggot and know one will know his name 10 years from now.

    2. Eminem who opposed being a pop star became one himself with his rihanna shit. He’s just one of the trash rappers out there.

      1. When did he oppose that shit?
Go and read his book the The Way I Am,he used to do those pop singles back in the day My name is,the real slim shady etc now the times have changed and an pop/rnb singer is a must.He has said he doesnt like it but its a marketing gimmicky.

    3. Em and his team fucked up alot!!! He dropped 2 classics back to back (MMLP and TES), but then fucked up with Encore by puttin WAY TOO MANY TRACKS ON IT!!! It coulda been an excellent album if it was 10 songs only (taking out the other 10 garbage tracks). And dont get me started on RELAPSE. What a great album it coulda been if there was NO ACCENT!!! SMH

      1. the accents is what made the album imo..gave off the creep crazy vibe. i never want to hear those accents again but for that album it was pefect.

    4. me a cat who keep it real.

      2chainz > tyga > nicki minaj > lil wayne > 2pac > gucci mane > eminem > rest of the industry.

      period.

    5. Niggas keep saying Eminem fell off after _____, in other words it’s more like “I outgrew Eminem and moved onto other material”. Nigga, you was 10 fuckin years old when the real slim shady came out. Or when Infinite dropped. Of course you’re gonna prefer that shit. Don’t get all up in our grill cause you got them nostalgia goggles on. Some people like his old shit, some people like his current shit, get over it.

Also Eminem has technically been pop since 2000. Stop holding on to one fuckin thing he said like 13 years ago about disliking some pop broads that, case in point, he doesn’t even think about anymore

      1. not everyone was old enough to know eminem when he was in his prime. plenty people only heard of him recently and agree his early music is better. dont deny the change in his craft

      2. What plenty of people, including those folk seem to do, is compare his worst shit today with his old shit. It’s the same song and dance (no pun intended). Yeah we’re all not fond of Not Afraid, no shit. But instead of acting like my opinion is absolute I can accept that some people appreciate relapse or even recovery, just not the overbearing overplayed singles that followed it.. niggas back in the day got sick of Em around 02, everything’s relative

      3. Eminem has been pop since 2000? Are you for real? You know that being on a major label, he pretty much had to have 1 or 2 “pop” singles on his albums to attract a bigger crowd. That’s how it works. But saying he was or is pop is riduculous. You might want to re-listen to his first few albums and tell me it’s “pop”. LOL.

Not because it’s mainstream hiphop that it’s pop. People need to educate themselves… Micheal Jackson is pop. THAT is pop. Eminem has always been “rap”, whether it be made for a wider, mainstream audience or a more dedicated hiphop fans.

      4. You can hold up Em all you want but the fact the matter is Em’s garbage! Plain and simple! Dude is such a Pop Rapper. He is not street hip hop just trailer trash pop hop!!!

    6. “Shady XV celebrates the 20th Anniversary of Eminem’s second and landmark studio album, The Slim Shady LP.”

      ^

      15th !!!!!!

    7. Dre should stop bothering with that midget dumbo black man,he will never reach Prime Shady status.Just give the White God beats!

      1. Poor Eminem, all he wants to do is just exist and love HipHop without all the separation and posturing and his fans who hang on his every bar do the exact opposite of what he wants

you can’t get over he’s white, you keep mentioning it so how you gonna command others to?

      2. @anonym2 and bugup yall salty and in denial when it comes to the white boy haha
cant blame you,so musch for black music yet the whitey is the best

    8. yo go listen to rap god and survival

      then hear when im gone

      the difference is insane

man i miss the old em

      1. even songs like Mockinbird….he doesnt make songs like that no more. “Never Enough” is lyrical as fuck and he’s not even trying. ALL his shit now sounds FORCED

      2. ^ Forced is a good word to describe a lot of his songs nowadays. His flow on a lot of them also seems forced. He doesn’t seem to know how to flow anymore.

      3. I agree with you, there is a huge difference. I also loved the old Eminem, and wish he would dip back into the old sound. BUT I do think that the change in his music is for the best. He has other responsibilities. I don’t know shit about him, and his personal life, but I like to believe he is real. And what he puts in his music comes from within, and I feel him. When he talks about Ronnie, and when the shit of all his years compacted, and the relationship with his mom, and how he hates himself and really tunes into those who he’s hurt. I think, sure if you think that’s “soft” that’s a reflection of who you are as a person. I think he has bigger balls then Lil’ Wayne ever thought of being–don’t get me wrong I enjoy his music–but Eminem talks about stuff that happens in real life. Really who has the money to smoke and party everyday? I admire him and as long as he’s is being honest, I will remain a loyal fan to the end.

    9. I am so tired of websites hosting articles about a worthless drug fein pop star. Dude raps are garbage! Em can make millions of albums but I can swear to you no one talk about Em’s garbage. I don’t care who produces for him. His shit is just not fire!!! So please, let the guy rap for weak dudes and softies!!! He will sell millions and we know why, Pop shit!!! Now there you have it ladies and gentlemen!!!! So please no more articles on Em because quite frankly no one listen to his shit or even cares.
