The event, which is scheduled to take place a day before Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2 is supposed to arrive in stores, is set to be moderated by Shade 45’s Sway in the Morning host Sway Calloway and will appear on SiriusXM’s Shady 45 station.
Rules and details regarding participation on the town hall are available at www.siriusxm.com/townhall or by listening to Shade 45.
Eminem is slated to release “The Monster” as his next single off The Marshall Mathers LP 2.
Detroit, Michigan radio station 98.7 reports that it is slated to premiere the single today (October 28).
Eminem and Rihanna have collaborated on several selections, including “Love the Way You Lie,” “Love the Way You Lie 2” and “Numb.”
Rihanna spoke about working with Eminem during a January interview with Complex.
“The moment I worked with him on ‘Love the Way You Lie,’ I wanted to work with him again, and we did ‘Love the Way You Lie Part 2,'” Rihanna said. “And then I wanted to work with him again. I just love working with Eminem. He’s just one of my favorite rappers, and his lyrics—he’s a true poet, and I enjoy that about him. For this song, I needed someone with not only his skill, but his personality. And I needed someone who really understands the perspective and the metaphor in the song of going numb and being numb to everything around and to say, ‘Fuck you.’ Eminem is definitely the perfect guy for that.”

NaS is the greatest rapper of all time. Illmatic shits on every other rap album ever made. Of the Big 3 (Nas, Em, Jay), NaS is the only one whose lyricism hasn’t stagnated. Jay and Em are faltering artistically because they recycle the same tired subjects in vain attempts to stretch their relevancy. They struggle to adapt to their age and put out mediocre pop garbage shit like Recovery and MCHG as a result. NaS has only himself to inspire because his peers still haven’t got a clue as to how to grow substantively as lyricists.
could agree w that.. while jayz n em did follow whats hot n poppin nas always been that guy to make his type of music. respect.
2pac>em>nas>>jayz
they all got their own way different styles and nas recycles shit over a ton too bout old school hood shit em and jay do well adjusting to the times and please tons more fans and get appeal by doin so, imaine if they both rapped on how they did on rd and sslp joke wouldve been up more than 10 years ago
Essence is troll, but troll who is true.
me: eminem who are the top 5 g.o.a.t, including yourself.
eminem: rakim, narrowely number 1, than me, than nas, jayz and than tupac/B.I.G.
me: what about kanye, lil wayne, drake, kendrick, j cole and rick ross.
eminem: i would put kanye around 30 something, wayne high twenties, drake around the 50 mark, kendrick near wayne, but will most probably move up higher in later years and j cole around the 60-70 mark. rick ross is not in the top 200.
