Eminem fans got an accidental peek at what his upcoming album The Death Of Slim Shady may look like, which would include features by J. Cole, JID and more.
On Saturday (July 6), @SyrianAlmond on X (formerly Twitter) shared a series of screenshots captured from the Apple Music app. Upon making the album available as a pre-save item, the platform accidentally made the 20-track playlist public.
Among the listed tracks included a posse cut titled “Cypher Intermission,” which features Cole alongside Black Thought, Tech Nine, Ez Mil and Royce Da 5’9″ — who also appears later on the project as the sole feature on the song “Threequel.”
The purported Death Of Slim Shady track listing also revealed a feature from Billie Eilish; a track with contributions by both JID and Skylar Grey; and appearances by Dr. Dre and 50 Cent on the song “Onslaught.”
In a late post, the Twitter user wrote: “DISCLAIMER! This could very well be fake. I don’t claim that this is any sort of confirmation. I just seen it and posted. [shrug emoji] Take it with a grain of salt.”
Commenters also noted that fake Eminem tracklists have made their way online before. The Apple Music page for the album now shows each track by only its number, with the exception of the singles “Houdini” and “Tobey.”

Eminem recently released the latter with Big Sean and Babytron, and he has now offered an explanation for why its music video did not go live in time.
A visual supplement for “Tobey” directed by Cole Bennett was supposed to drop on Friday (July 5). When it failed to manifest as promised, the 51-year-old rapper took to social media that same day and instead shared a snippet that alludes to the imagery of The Marshall Mathers LP from 2000.
“Tobey” originally hit streaming platforms on Tuesday (July 2). Joining the never-ending debate over the greatest rappers of all time, he asserts his dominance in the culture while addressing those who have questioned it.
“Ain’t feelin’ your top five favorite rappers/ So I know they ’bout to be pissed at me/ But this, to me, is a mystery/ How rappers I’ve already ripped could be/ Higher up on a list than me/ Yet here I sit on your list though at five (Hm), which still was fine/ But just know inside, to me, that shit’s hilarious,” he spits on the explosive track.
Shifting his focus to Melle Mel’s recent criticism of his place in Hip Hop, he adds: “When I get dissed though and by a pioneer/ Who was one of the reasons why I am here/ They tell me I should just let that shit go and slide/ ‘Melle Mel shouldn’t get no reply’/ ‘That man is a legend,’ bitch, so am I.”
Em’s twelfth studio album The Death of Slim Shady (Coupe De Grâce) is scheduled to be released on July 12.
O.M.G. 🔥🔥🔥
Big if true
Dope emcees. Low to no optimism about the beat selection though
This fool legit just called Bill Eilish a “dope emcee”… wow.
Do you really think that he thinks Billie Eilish is a rapper? He’s talking about Cole, Jid and all the other features of rappers listed . Jesus, people are so ignorant
Beat selection is something that has always let Eminem down. Music To Be Murdered By was a nice return to form, but almost everything after Recovery was sub-standard.
@Fool Out here calling folks fools when you clearly didn’t retain anything from the article. Yet you chose your name wisely, ironically.
Billie elish lol
Hector the
Tard
@Hector the Tard- Stop liking your own comments, loser 😂
He always has like 1-3 great songs that I listen to a hundred times in the month after the album comes out, and the rest is trash that features new school rappers I’ve never heard of. MTBMB the songs I liked were “yah yah”, “Darkness”, and “never love again”. Let’s hope there’s at least a few good ones on this, because there’s zero chance he pulls off a classic.
The fact you’ve never heard of Black Thought, Royce, TechN9ne, JID is embarrassing. EZ Mil solid young versatile artist too. I agree his albums post 2002 more hit or miss but def more than a few songs on each. Revival agreed only 3-4, but every other album 6-14 (though def still misses).
Why does he call himself Eminem? Don’t he realize it’s spellt M&M’s ? What an dumby
Because his initials are MM- Marshall Mathers. He has explained that he did not want to be sued by the candy company for spelling it the same so he ended up spelling it out “Eminem”. Damn dude, that’s just common sense, and anyone who knows anything about Em knows this. Which makes it clear you don’t know jack shit about him and are just another loser behind a computer screen trolling on people with real talent and success bc you don’t have it. If you did, you wouldn’t be trolling, you’d be enjoying that success. Just saying.. get a life. And do some research before you start dissing people for no reason. Smh. And before calling anyone able “dumby” (it’s dummy), learn how to spell and properly use grammar. Last time I checked, the letter d is not a vowel, so it would be “a dummy”, not “an dumby”. Lord help us
Em fell off 20 years ago Sarah cope harder
Wow, weak ass list of features other than Dre. Cole and Eminem feels like Oil and Water, and who the heck is JID?
“Who the heck is JID”? 🤡
Holy casual. Black Thought Royce TechN9ne Eminem 4 of the illest lyrical technicians EVER! JID one of the best “new school emcees” to come out the last decade. EZ Mil versatile dope artist on Shady Records. I’d hope to see Grip & Boogie as well from Shady on there + Elzhi, Crooked, RJ Payne, Ransom, Benny, Conway, etc but this (if true which I have my doubts) could be dope (although I do worry about not enough boom bap banging beats).
this dude smh… He had to put billie eilish and skylar grey. This dude just doesn’t like to release a rap album lmfao 🤣
#ShutYoDumbAssUp
Guess he invited Black Thought so he can rap about absolutely nothing while using a multi syllable rhyme scheme then cry about all the greats he’s “ripped. This album is about to be mid. Stans will say it’s his best album since Eminem show though! 😂
Royce about to have the best verses on this!
How can you type so much and say so little? Get a life 😂
