Eminem may be making a return to film, according to Production Weekly’s Twitter Feed.
“Eminem & Frances McDormand are in talks to join Rachel Weisz & Anthony Hopkins in the Fernando Meirelles sex-themed drama ‘360’,” read the Tweet, which has since been taken down.
Since the rapper’s well-received acting debut in 2002’s 8 Mile, Em has stayed away from the silver screen, save a cameo in 2009’s Funny People. For a number of years, he was also attached to a film adaptation of Have Gun – Will Travel as the character Paladin.
Eminem’s video for “No Love” featuring Lil Wayne debuted yesterday (September 30).
UPDATE: Representatives for the Eminem have denied reports that the rapper is in talks to star in the movie.
“There’s no truth to it all,” said a rep, who also responded to rumors that Shady is in talks to join the cast of the latest Batman movie to play the role of The Riddler.
Em was also in a recent episode of Entourage. He was good enough in 8 Mile to make me want to see him again in something else. We’ll see if he can be any good as not playing himself, or in a non-rap-themed film though.

It’s a pipe dream, but I’ve always wanted him to do an 8 Mile 2, that tells the story of Rabbit making it into the industry, and getting caught up in that world, the betrayal, the drugs,and all that, kinda similar, once again, to what happened to him in real life
