Eminem has reportedly popped up in front of the camera for a surprising reason — a cameo in Adam Sandler’s upcoming Happy Gilmore sequel.
The U.S. Sun reported last week that a “source” informed them Marshall Mathers had traveled to New Jersey to shoot some scenes for the film last Tuesday (November 6).

“Em is a big fan of the original movie, and he was a total pleasure to work with. He was just super low key, he didn’t have a big entourage, and was just an absolute delight on set,” the anonymous source said.
The source continued, saying that the Rap God had “good comedic acting skills.”

“He’s playing a comedic role and he really had fun with it,” they said.
If the Sun is correct, Em won’t be the only rapper in Happy Gilmore 2. Kid Cudi has been tapped to star in the flick as well.

Deadline announced Cudi’s inclusion in the Netflix film late last month, though they noted that his role – as well as the film’s plot – is still under wraps. Julie Bowen and Christopher McDonald will be reprising their roles of Virginia Venit and Shooter McGavin, respectively, and Sandler previously teased that both Travis Kelce and Bad Bunny will be making appearances as well.
Sharing the news in a post to Instagram, Cudi wrote: “I’ve been wanting to talk about this for a minute!!! This is so fuckin HUGE. Its been a long time dream of mine to work w Adam, hes my favorite, and his movies and comedy made up my childhood.
“Another dream come true. BLESSED!! Get ready, this ones gonna be EPIC.”
Cudi is on a roll with his acting career, and recently revealed he landed a starring role for what will be his third movie in the horror genre.
