Eminem turned 48 on Saturday (October 17) and was met with a barrage of celebratory social media posts. A few of his famous friends and collaborators penned some thoughtful messages for Slim Shady on Instagram, including 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg and Royce Da 5’9.
On Sunday (October 18), Fiddy shared a throwback photo of himself with Shady at the MTV Video Music Awards along with a more current photo of 50 getting his star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood, illustrating the years they go back.
“Happy Birthday Em,” he captioned the post. “Love you wishing you many more God bless you.”
For Royce’s post, he shared an even older photo of Eminem — before the fame, bleached hair and Stans — and anointed him, once again, with the G.O.A.T. status.
“48 times …. I can name 48 reasons why he raps better than you,” he captioned the post. “48 people who’s lives he’s changed. Name 48 things he’s accomplished that nobody thought he could, EVER… Happy 48th to my brother … The [GOAT] Debate your mother.”
Finally, Snoop — who collaborated with Eminem, Dr. Dre, Nate Dogg and Xzibit in 2000 on “Bitch Please II” — also had some kind words for the Detroit-bred rap god.
“Libra gang, Libra gang,” Snoop says during an Instagram Live session. “Slim Shady, happy birthday to you cuzzo. Libra gang, man. Keep living your life. Be safe, be smart, be sharp, and keep being you. Much love from the king of the west coast. Love you my dawg. Happy birthday, Eminem.”
Eminem is one of the most successful artists of all time, selling over 100 million singles and albums over the course of his career. Earlier this month, his 2000 mega hit “Lose Yourself” hit over one billion streams on Spotify, while his 2005 album Curtain Call: The Hits returned to the Billboard 200 at No. 59, 15 years after its release and continuing its nearly 10-year run.
Billed as Shady’s second compilation album, the project debuted at No. 1 upon its release, selling roughly 441,000 copies in its first week. Since then, it’s been certified 7x-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and has remained on the Billboard chart for a staggering 496 weeks.
50 the BBC Bull who cuck fucks for Eminem’s twisted cuck fluffer fantasies.. Meanwhile Eminem is in the corner with a shady grin wacking , jacking.. he’s a fiend for meth, cocaine and black cum..
Wtf are you talking about dude?
It’s the adventures of slimy, shady shit packer..but this is obvious..
He’s the one on Cocaine meth and sucking dick for cum. He’s an em hater for no reason. Need a reason to hate him or there’s no point of saying false shit you can fucking prove.
Black people always try to discredit Eminem. Because they hate authority and despise greatness . Dr Dre, 50 cent ,racist 59 and Bizarre are the good kind. They love Em
Em is a legend and im not even a super fan but I gotta show respect. Im sure all the grandpa jokes are gonna come from dumb ass Gen Z people who dont realize Hip Hop started in 1978 Sugarhill Gang, 20 years before Em’s debut in 1998 which was 22 years ago. That makes Hip Hop 42 years old kids. Gen X stand up ! Big ups to Em on his B-day keep that music coming. Fuck billboard 100, fuck streaming, just keep making music for the love of it.
We don’t care, old head. Sit down and take your meds.
Playa im not even 45 yet. Im probably old enough to be ya daddy but definitely not ya granddaddy for real. But I am old enough to remember when being a young rapper was looked at as a joke. Go read up on Kriss Kross, Lil Bow Wow, and even Solja Boy. Now all of a sudden 16-19 year old rappers are taken seriously. Times change.
Happy b day em. 313 legend
Oh so now there’s a hall of fame for dope fiends huh? Lol
I don’t want to comment on this site anymore but; fuck the haters Eminem took over the world in the end … Happy B/Day muthafxcker!
Em will meth poot. Right in your face. Then load his glass dick and blast his way to the moon. Jaw rocking and chin twisting. Shady style .
Only you can truly under-Stan
