50 Cent, Eminem and R. Kelly were the big winners at the Billboard American Urban Radio Networks 2003 R & B Hip-Hop Awards show on Sunday August 8th. 50 Cent won four of the ten awards he was nominated for including Top R& B artist and top R& B/hip-hop singles. Eminem and R. Kelly both won three awards and the late Aaliyah were named R &B/hip-hop artist, female. The awards show also paid tribute to the legendary Betty Wright and hip-hop legend Grandmaster Flash. The awards show which was hosted by radio personality Doug Parr and Idris Elba of the hit show “The Wire”, took place at the Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami Beach.
