Earl Sweatshirt Slaps Cell Phone Out Of Fan’s Hand — & Vince Staples Is Here For It

Earl Sweatshirt lost at least one fan this weekend after he slapped a phone out of their hand. A group of men spotted the Odd Future alum wandering around (what looks like) New Orleans’ French Quarter and attempted to take a video of him. But that’s when things went south.

As Earl approaches the camera, he reaches out and hits the phone, knocking it to the ground. The fan replies, “That’s fucked up, yo. Get the fuck outta here. Fuck that mother fucker.”

The fan tweeted the entire interaction with the caption, “When you want a pic with one of your favorite rappers since day 1 and he’s a dick.”

On Saturday (March 23), Vince Staples, who’s always down for social media commentary, retweeted the video and made a generous offer.

“If you feel disrespected I can get you a fade from the homie just let me know,” he wrote.

Mr. Sweatshirt has yet to address the incident publicly — and probably won’t.

But watch the clip below anyway.

      1. Give a celebrity privacy… In public lol? This altercation literally just leads to more paparazzi and even less privacy.

    1. call their bluff. shoot that fade. Ugly corny earl sweatshitt wouldnt do that if it was some goons filming him. coward.

    2. Where are the cops when you need them? An angry black man going around assaulting people? What is this country coming to?

    3. he could have laid earl out and picked his phone up and filmed it lol but he was pusssayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

      1. Earl can fight though there’s a video out there him squaring up with some dude and knocking him around

    4. I’m over bitches trying to act like I owe ’em a picture

Rather introduce these hoes to Vince who could show you a pistol.

    5. vince staples happy to clap back at a fan taking a pic but wont respond to eminem…you’re a bitch vince

      1. Nah. This will stop when the public starts respecting the wishes of their “favorite” rappers instead of acting like they’re owed something. Grow up.

    6. ask people for pictures. y’all acting like y’all wouldn’t get pissed if someone shoved a cemera in your face when you’re minding your own business.

    7. Your “favorite rapper” also constantly talks about personal issues and needing space so ya dont think you should film this guy without asking
