DX News Bits: 50 Cent, Diddy, Kanye West

Diddy will find himself in the courtroom soon, as 51-year-old Francesca Spero has filed a lawsuit against the rap mogul.

According to TMZ, Spero claims Diddy was “unsympathetic” to her need for major hip surgery in 2008, and her subsequent relapse to an addiction to prescription medication and alcohol.

Spero, whose job was to sign new artists, was fired in March 2010, and replaced by a woman 10-15 years younger who “lacked the skill set and experience Spero brought to the position.”

Spero is suing Diddy, along with his publishing and management companies, for $12 million in damages for age and disability discrimination.

A spokesman for Diddy responded, saying, “This is a grab for money by someone who concedes in her complaint to having had a drug relapse while on the job and an employer who was not satisfied with her work.”

“There are many reasons why Ms. Spero is no longer employed by Bad Boy, but age discrimination is not one of them.”

50 Cent has left Twitter – but only momentarily. The rapper announced via his account (@50cent) “[sic] Ok ladies and gentalmen I’m writing my new album. I will not be on twitter again till sept 6This album will be a classic.”

50 followed the announcement of his album with a corrective Tweet, saying, “Motherfuckers I know how to spell gentlemanI was typing fast fuck you. sept 6 until then bitches suck deep and niggas lick the holes right.”

The album takes place of Black Magic, a project that 50 recently scrapped.

Kanye West is preparing a movie to accompany his still-untitled upcoming album.

“On set of the movie,” said Ye via his Twitter account. “This doe just refuses to sit still. … I told the deer … ‘what would Bambi do?’ & she looked at me like I was crazy.”

“Been shooting 16 hour days. … I’m so excited. … It’s like a child’s delusions become reality,” he added.
