Drake gave fans something to think about over the weekend when he hinted at an upcoming Las Vegas residency. According to The Blast, sources say the 6 God signed up for a multi-year deal at the Wynn Casino & Hotel’s XS Nightclub.with a minimum 10-show commitment, which guarantees Drake more than $10 million.
During a performance at the club last week, Drake dropped a not-so-subtle hint.
“Vegas! When I came back, I thought it’d be back at T-Mobile Arena or some (stuff),” he said, according to Las Vegas Review-Journal. “But I’ll be back here at XS all year. You’ll have a lotta chances to see me.”
Drake reportedly chose XS because of its “high exposure” and ability to consistently pull in massive crowds.
On Sunday (January 13), the OVO bossed shared an Instagram photo of himself performing at XS with the caption, “New home.”
While Drake hasn’t made an official announcement yet, it’s likely coming soon. However, it’s unclear when tickets will go on sale or when his residency even begins. As of Tuesday (January 15), there’s no mention of his residency on the XS Nightclub calendar.
