Drake was feeling a bit salty earlier this week after watching his hometown Toronto Raptors get defeated by the Los Angeles Clippers in the 6.

Following the 124-113 victory on Tuesday night (December 27), the Clippers’ social media team took a jab at Drizzy with a post showing a pair of former Raptors Kawhi Leonard and Norman Powell dapping up the 6 God after the game.

Kawhi and Norm with a fan,” the Instagram post caption read to belittle Drake, who didn’t waste any time firing back in the comment section taunting the Clippers’ championship drought.

“Win a ring,” he wrote. The snarky comment angered Clipper nation and has compiled over 35,000 likes as of press time.

Tuesday night’s matchup dropped the Raptors to a lowly 15-19 on the season as Paul George poured in 23 points for the Clippers. Raptors forward Pascal Siakam did his best to keep Toronto in it with a 36-point effort, which proved to not be enough in the 11-point defeat.

Drake was in the building as he took in the action from a courtside seat with his son Adonis for some family bonding time around the holiday season. While only five years old, Adonis appears to have hoop dreams of his own in the future.

For those that don’t know, the L.A. Clippers have never won an NBA championship or have even won the Western Conference to reach the NBA Finals in the team’s history. However, the franchise did reach the Conference Finals for the first time in 2021.

Drake, who was named an official Global Ambassador for the Toronto Raptors in 2013, was there every step of the way to help will Canada’s only NBA franchise to its first championship over the Golden State Warriors in 2019. At the time, the team was led by current L.A. Clipper Kawhi Leonard, who took home NBA Finals MVP honors.

In other Drake news, some of the Toronto rapper’s handwritten rap lyrics have gone up for auction.

A teenage Drizzy reportedly penned the lyrics while was working for his uncle’s Memphis furniture manufacturer in the 2000s. They ended up in the trash and were only discovered in the factory’s dumpster when it was closing up shop for good.
