Drake appears to have issued a shady reaction to his ex-girlfriend Serena Williams making a cameo during Kendrick Lamar‘s Super Bowl halftime show.
Following the performance, Drizzy went on a posting spree on his burner Instagram account, @plottttwistttttt, and shared a choice picture of himself with Williams’ former longtime agent Jill Smoller.

The photo was taken at Wimbledon in 2015 as the Toronto rapper cheered on his former flame.
While the tennis legend has yet to respond, Drake’s apparent dig did not go down well with fans online.

“Wow that’s creepy and weird,” one person commented on his post, while another wrote: “‘Drake is so unbothered’ this dude was definitely crying after watching the highlights.”
A third user tore into him by saying: “Damn! He responded to a woman with the quickness. Too bad he won’t do the same to the man who has had his foot on his neck for the past year.”
Serena Williams made a surpise appearance towards the end of Kendrick’s Super Bowl show and was briefly seen Crip Walking on an elevated stage as he performed his hit Drake diss song “Not Like Us.”
The 43-year-old, who also hails from Compton, was later defended by her husband Alexis Ohanian after facing criticism from some media personalities including Charlamagne Tha God and Stephen A. Smith.

“Some of y’all have no idea how criticized Serena was for this same dance at Wimbledon 13 years ago and it shows…. This is bigger than the music,” Ohanion wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
Serena herself referenced her Wimbledon victory dance in a video immediately after her Super Bowl cameo, saying: “Man I did not Crip Walk like that at Wimbledon. I woulda been fined! It was all love.”
She also posted about the experience on Instagram.
“When @kendricklamar and team called and was like ‘we’ve been trying to do something forever, what about this? We loved your crip walk at the Olympics after you won the gold medal,'” she wrote.
“I’m like Super Bowl? Are you serious? When in the world would I ever be able to dance at a superbowl? (Never) let’s do it! I knew my winning dance after the @olympics would pay off one day. End of story.”

Drake and Serena are rumored to have dated in 2011, with the Canadian rapper seen at many of her tennis matches around this time.
The alleged fling was even mentioned by Kendrick on “Not Like Us” when he rapped: “I’m glad DeRoz’ came home, y’all didn’t deserve him neither / From Alondra down to Central, n-gga better not speak on Serena.”
