Drake has been accused of being a pedophile in one of the many diss tracks Kendrick Lamar launched his way over the weekend — now, a piece of “evidence” that bolstered K.Dot’s claim has been contextualized by the woman it involved.
A recording from one of Drizzy’s concerts in 2010 recently began making the rounds amid the rap beef. In it, he brings a fan up on stage, dances with her and then gets quite close to ask her age. Upon learning that she was 17, he responded by saying: “17, why you look like that? You thick!”
The woman in question is named Tia Owens, and she is now 31 years old. On Monday (May 6), she took to her Instagram Story to set the record straight.
“Regarding the video that’s going around… I was 17 back then and I’m 31 now. This was a concert that my dad took me to back in high school. Drake’s entourage actually picked me out from the crowd of people…NOT DRAKE himself,” she wrote. “(BTW performers always bring fans up on stage… it’s part of their show) It was nothing then and still nothing now. Now that I have learned up these fake narratives.. I’m going back to study for my law school exams. Wish me luck.”

Drake himself fired back at the aforementioned allegations on “The Heart Part 6,” which was released late last week.
Taking its name from Kendrick’s “The Heart” series, it features the 6 God denying the Compton rapper’s accusations about him being a sex predator who targets underage girls and that he’ss been hiding a daughter from the public eye for over a decade.
“I never been with no one underage but now I understand why this the angle that you really mess with/ Just for clarity, I feel disgusted, I’m too respected/ If I was fucking young girls, I promise I’d have been arrested/ I’m way too famous for this shit you just suggested,” he raps, before adding: “Only fuckin’ with Whitneys, not Millie Bobby Browns, I’d never look twice at no teenager.”
The canadian superstar ends the track by throwing down the gauntlet, telling his rival: “Just let me know when we’re getting to the facts. Everything in my shit is facts; I’m waiting on you to return the favor.”
He further challenged the Los Angeles MC on Instagram, writing: “And we know you’re dropping 6 mins after so instead of posting my address you have a lot to address.”
The song followed Kendrick’s diss joints “Not Like Us” and “Meet the Grahams,” which were released in response to the shots from Drizzy on “Family Matters.”
Calling a 17 year old thick when you’re a grown ass dude is still creepy though.
This dumb bitch didn’t clear anything up, there’s no false narrative. She was 17, got molested on stage by an adult man, and for whatever reason, sees that as perfectly acceptable now as a 31 year old woman.
