Drake has been accused of paying $150,000 for dirt on Kendrick Lamar — but was apparently finessed.
In a recent interview, Atlanta rapper Coolee Bravo claimed that the 6 God offered huge sums of money to people connected to Kendrick in an attempt to find out damaging information about his fierce rival.
“This bitch ass n-gga Drake sent n-ggas to Atlanta. He tried to come down here and get some information on Kendrick,” Bravo said. “Mind you, I can’t get no information on Kendrick because I’m only tied to his friend named L […] They come to me. They tried to give one of my lil’ homies $150,000.
“So I say, ‘What they asking for?’ They say. ‘They wanna know something about Kendrick.’ I said, ‘Kendrick ain’t from Atlanta or fucking Chicago so what the fuck are they asking?’ They said, ‘What do you know about Whitney?’ I said, ‘Whitney who? My girl?’ ‘Cause my girl named Whitney. They said, ‘Nah, Kendrick’s girl.'”
Rapper Coolee Bravo confirms Drake paid him $150K for information on Kendrick Lamar's wife, Whitney, and admits he gave Drake false information. Also, Coolee Bravo says he laughed when he heard "Family Matters."

He continued: “Whitney is up there with him. That’s a bombshell, they don’t know that. Drake talking all that shit about, ‘Why you live in New York?’ I said, ‘Oh, they stupid. Take the money, I’ma tell them a lie’ […] I told them Kendrick was at fucking L.A. still. They gave me the money and I gave $50,000 to my n-ggas.
“‘Family [Matters]’ came out and we laughed. I said, ‘That n-gga’s stupid.’ So while Drake was talking about bait, n-gga, we got your money and you ain’t even get nothing. You didn’t get no information, you dumb ass n-gga. Drake is dumb, bruh. He’s a Canadian n-gga trying to get information from Black Americans from the hood. That n-gga’s stupid.
“That’s why Kendrick said, ‘You came back with no receipts.’ I should have asked for 200! That n-gga went and put out ‘Family [Matters]’ and that’s when Kendrick smoked his ass. He thinks n-ggas gonna tell on him for money.”
Drake has yet to address the allegations.
The Toronto native made numerous explosive allegations about Kendrick Lamar on “Family Matters,” notably that he once beat up his fiancée Whitney Alford and that one of his two children belong to his longtime manager Dave Free.
While K. Dot has yet to directly address those accusations, he, too, made reference to Drake trying to dig up dirt on his personal life on two of his diss tracks.
On “Euphoria,” he rapped: “Why would I call around tryna get dirt on n-ggas? Y’all think all my life is rap?/ That’s ho shit, I got a son to raise, but I can see you don’t know nothin’ ’bout that.”
And on “6:16 in LA,” he spat: “It was fun until you started to put money in the streets/ Then lost money ’cause they came back with no receipts.”
