Drake and his OVO Brand have a new collaboration with Timberland, and they’ve tapped Fivio Foreign to show it off.
The collab dubbed “Return of An Icon” features the original 6” Premium OVO Timberland boot, available in stores and online Friday (December 2). And with the boot being a New York staple, Fivio serving as the model for it is quite fitting.

The Fall drop follows OVO’s ‘Hot Boys’ collection over the summer, which paid homage to Drizzy’s mentor Lil Wayne and his New Orleans-bred ’90s collective, Hot Boys. Making the group’s 1999 sophomore effort Guerilla Warfare the focal point, the album name was plastered onto an array of t-shirts, shorts and hoodies.

Drizzy recently landed the top spot on Spotify’s 2022 most-streamed artists list for the U.S. Globally, Bad Bunny takes the No.1 spot, but Drake still rounds out the top five alongside Taylor Swift, The Weeknd and BTS.
Drake has also been getting into investments, recently reviving art-themed carnival Luna Luna with a nearly $100 million donation.
The attraction debuted in Hamburg, Germany in 1987 with carnival rides designed by acclaimed artists such as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Salvador Dalí and Keith Haring. Financial troubles quickly plagued it, however, and the various installations have remained in storage for 35 years.
Drake’s involvement came when the idea was presented to his creative venture business, DreamCrew, and the rest is history.

“When I first heard about Luna Luna I was blown away,” Drake told The New York Times. “It’s such a unique and special way to experience art. This is a big idea and opportunity that centers around what we love most: bringing people together.”
