Drake invited the Kentucky men’s basketball team to enjoy some time hanging out poolside and practicing in the gym of his Toronto estate.

Drake and coach John Calipari have a relationship that dates back over a decade and he allowed the Wildcats to practice at his $100 million mansion on Friday (July 14).

Although the 6 God wasn’t around since he’s currently on the road with 21 Savage for the It’s All A Blur Tour, Kentucky had access to all the home’s amenities, including the full-court basketball gym.

In his OVO polo, Coach Cal took a video after practice with the team going for a swim at Drake’s pool and he compared the campus to a resort.

“Alright, we’re at Drake’s relaxing,” Cal said while Drake and Migos’ “Having Our Way” boomed throughout the mansion speakers. “Really wish you were with us. What is that? Is that a hotel? Oh my gosh and here comes goofballs. You would think these are a bunch of 18-year-olds. I ain’t going in.”

In one of the clips, forward Tre Mitchell revealed his favorite Drizzy song of all time is “Champagne Poetry,” which landed on 2021’s Certified Lover Boy.

The Kentucky Wildcats were north of the border for the Global Jam tournament where they took home the gold medal and are rolling into the 2023-2024 season with high expectations.

While the team was already in Toronto, it made sense to pay the 6 God’s estate a visit if for nothing else, this should play well in the recruiting world for coach Calipari, who has had no issues in the past bringing five-star future NBA ballers to Kentucky.

Cal let Drake cosplay as a Kentucky Wildcat for a day in 2014 where he famously participated in lay-up lines and airballed a jump shot.
